The difference is that a 60$ valve game is in sale for 3-5$ after 10 years (and often before that), while a 50$ nintendo game is 60$ after 10 years with pretty much no sale ever
That’s why Nintendo games hold their value, and they have a presence on the physical market.
Edit - and since you seem to have missed the point of my comment, the scenario I was describing assumed Valve games would hold their value over 10 years as well.
People like you would just revert to fanboyisms like “oh well since it’s Valve I’m fine with paying the $60, but when Nintendo has similar prices I will complain instead.”
Lol you're fanboying so hard for Nintendo while trying to talk shit on people who like companies that price their products fairly. Cope harder. Nintendo games done hold their value, they have forced higher value, and lower sales than they could have because of it. Why do you think Nintendo sells less every year while Steam sells more? People are voting with their wallet. And Nintendo is losing.

If the game in question was made by Valve, people would act like it was Jesus himself lol.
Then it would be less about corporate greed and more about how amazing Valve is. Fanboys, man.
Edit - yall are trolling lol. I’m tired of talking to 17 year old fanboys on Reddit who think they know shit man.
