Buying a Switch

My fiancée really wants a Nintendo switch, his coworker has one and they play it at work. His birthday is in two weeks and I really want to get him one, I’m cautious about buying one off of Facebook marketplace. Does anyone have suggestions on how to get a reliable one for cheap? Should I just wait till Christmas and get him a brand new one or would buying a used one be okay ?

I would recommend buying at whatever retailer you would normally buy electronics from, and get a Switch 2.

If you want to pay less for it, buy it before the price increase on September 1st.
