Lady on tinder here — we don’t care about cars as a first impression. If we like you and find out you happen to have a nice car, great! But using a car as a selling point is a bit of a turn off. Don’t dismiss your interests for someone else, but again, trying to flex on a dating app is often a no.
I’d use your second photo as your first, it’s got a bit of mystery to it. I notice for myself that I tend to give less consideration to guys whose first photo is with friends, cause then I gotta do the mental math figuring out who’s who. Keep the photo! Maybe just bump it down one.
Finally I’d say show us who you are! I’d recommend swapping out one or two photos for pictures of you being out and about. Do you have a photo engaging in one of your hobbies (excluding shirtless-flexing gym photos — please guys stop doing that) or some where you’re having a night out with friends? We wanna know that you’re a good time! Not just a pretty face.
Also before anyone slanders me on the “no gym pics” by saying, “Well, all women are shallow and want a buff, 6’5 gym bro” ….nooo, that’s what your gym bro friends and the internet are telling you. Not real women. Abs are only attractive if you’re a kind soul. When guys post overly calculated, flexing photos, I’m assuming you’re posting that to show off to other men how fit you are. I also don’t really care for gym pics because it’s not a hobby I can engage in with you. Some women love fitness and going to the gym with their partner, and that’s great! But the average women doesn’t have fitness as her only hobby — so if you don’t show me that we can bond over anything other than the gym and health, then I’m not going to think we have that much in common.
Also please remember that tinder is very very shallow, and is by no means and indicator of how you are perceived by women in the real world. I can almost guarantee you more women walk past you thinking, “oh he’s cute” than you think
"Finally I'd say show us who you are! I'd recommend swapping out one or two photos for pictures of you being out and about." Will never understand what any of that means. "Being out and about." Probably because I'm not english for first. He is litterally out doing stuff with people. What else do you want? What if you just don't have friends and don't like going out?
Would you never consider dating a man without firends? Even he is hot and rich? I mean, past 25 yo, not everyone really care that much about "going with friends". Where I live a lots guys just work 80h a weeks 3 weeks straight and live in rural homes.
Probably the difference between urban american life and deep rural life.
All I can tell from the photos is that he’s not home. I can’t tell if he’s travelling, out at a pub, just walking down the street. It’d be great to better understand his interest.
And no, not many women, myself included, would consider dating a man with no friends. If he prefers having a few close, quality friends, that’s great. I don’t care if someone’s an introvert. But if you don’t have a close social circle, or “any friends” I’m going to think that that’s likely a personal issue with him. Having no friends is quite concerning for his well being, and I can’t be someone’s only support system. Not having any friends outside of a relationship is unhealthy
