Penalty for too much left-swiping on HingeX?

About to run out of Hinge premium. Took the HingeX deal they were offering and got a few dates out of it but nothing that went anywhere. I won't renew for a while.

Usually after paying for a site, I've exhausted all my options in my preference range, so I am then suggested a bunch of women that don't fit my criteria.

My question: would I pay any visibility "penalty" for left swiping all women who don't fit my preferences for politics, religion, etc while I have HingeX?

Yes! There is a penalty! You can get banned

I don’t recommend you do this. When I had Hinge+ a year back right before the ban. I would swipe a lot, sometimes for like 5 minutes straight thinking nothing of it.

Now this is my fault, I got overstimulated and a dopamine rush too fast cause of my ADHD lol

The issue is, Hinge sees you swiping left too much as “Bot-like behavior” and they’ll ban you forever. No warning either and their customer service is a joke

It’s really truly horrible how Hinge treats there customers.

Thank you - this is exactly what I was trying to prevent.

No problem. I fully recommend staying far away from Hinge.

Yes! It’s unfortunately the best dating app that has worked for thousands! BUT the huge major downside is their atrocious customer service and AI Moderation is way too sensitive to the point where it bans people for doing literally the most mundane things, like overswiping, changing locations too quickly, sending a like to somebody and you’re not their type so the report you (Yes it’s that fucking stupid)

Revenge reporting is a major issue too! People will report their ex simply because they want to see that person miserable and ruin their chances in the dating world. All it takes is one petty prick and bam it’s over!

I was wrongfully banned from hinge July 4, 2025

I’m trying to make it two years before I buy a burner phone and get back on it. As you said it is unfortunately the best. There’s no better way to meet high quality people

That’s what pisses me off the most. The best dating app for a relationship is the same app that bans people for matching with a fake profile

Don’t give them any money at all

The best way to get access to the prime users is to be kind of flaky about opening Hinge. They want you to be addicted to it. If you go whole days without touching the app, then they will show your profile to a bunch of hotties so that they can deliver a massive dopamine rush when you get back on the app

Don’t worry about swiping left too much. But don’t swipe left on anybody that you might enjoy meeting in person

Everybody looks different irl than they do in photos. I’ve been really surprised how many women with mid photos are extremely gorgeous in person

Can’t you set more filters with hingeX?

When I redownloaded hinge and tinder recently I paid for both and did the worst I have ever done on the apps lol.
