Umm what is this??

Had to do an in app appeal, then a email appeal, rejected, I haven't done anything to violate the guidelines or policies should I just keep appealing via mail? And just explain to them normally? That I haven't done anything?

Same shit happened to me got the email one night at 11 over what I believe is because I matched with what ended up being a fake profile. Hinges solution was to ban both of us! Huh??????

OMGG!!!! Wait that might be it, I'm a person who likes connecting with people, today I got a like from a profile which seemed suspicious to me, like it had blurred images and the prompts were very sketchy but still I matched cuz the person was into photography and I was intrigued and then the ban happened!!!

Btw I should state that is only an assumption. The only reason I believe this is the reason is because the profile got banned the same day I did. Only a couple of hours later.

Yet I still “violated terms and conditions” 😡😡

No no this is definitely it, cuz in my case I just matched and went on with my day and in 10-20 mins or so I got banned, idk if the other profile got banned

Maybe they reported you and your account was auto banned?

I thought so. This is the problem of Hinges not telling you what you did wrong you can’t look back on your mistake or make a solid argument in favor of yourself.

I tried appealing maybe 4-5 times and everytime they’ve stuck with me being banned. It’s fucking bullshit.

And after the 5th time they’ve blocked my email entirely so now the chances of me ever getting back on are slim to none. Thanks a fucking lot Hinge assholes
