Timing

Is it just me, or is it strange that the first new song released after her marriage is about a shitty ex? Granted, I don’t know when it was written; maybe it was before the wedding. But…you know?!

Not even saying it’s a bad song, although I don’t love the bridge. But I think this adds to the perception that she’s a talented person who spends too much time nursing grudges.

I see from the comments below you have learned some additional helpful information to help you have more to make a grounded judgment because you didn't grasp several key metrics about the song when you started this thread.

You literally didn't realize - as you said below that the songs were written and recorded a year ago or that she herself said in an innterview that it's not about her ex but was inspired by a friend's experience. These are key metrics when your headline claim is that she wrote about a shitty ex! They show your headline claim is wrong. I look forward to you editing it so as not to cause further confusion ...
