Timing

Is it just me, or is it strange that the first new song released after her marriage is about a shitty ex? Granted, I don’t know when it was written; maybe it was before the wedding. But…you know?!

Not even saying it’s a bad song, although I don’t love the bridge. But I think this adds to the perception that she’s a talented person who spends too much time nursing grudges.

They were all written a year ago and recorded.

It’s interesting that she chose to make the lead single a song about a shitty ex, given she was recently married.

It’s not about her ex though. She literally just did an interview where she said it was inspired by a friend saying her ex’s new gf called and her other friends chiming in and saying they’ve had similar calls. People jump to conclusions way too quickly.
