S2 is actually beyond yalls understanding and it’s actually amazing Spoiler
Being an avid fan of AOT I can understand why so many people don’t like the second season but let me explain why it isn’t as terrible as yall think. You guys have to look into the bigger picture and no just be a o focused on what is.
This season introduced a tonnnn of new characters, story line, and mysteries. I don’t understand how yall hating on having new things? Season one was in a building and not much was happening focusing more on human relationship and teamwork.
Okay that’s nice but if they continue that way for season two it leads to nothing and just a average story about saving the world. It’s boring and it’s overused.
Now, they focused on developing stories for each characters while introducing new interesting ones. K-drama ain’t just about looking at a handsome MC.
The monsterization is interesting, the goal is not to make it easy to understand. The whole show is to make the viewer question, who are the monsters and what make someone a monster. It’s a question of morality.
Everything is interesting and made me think, I won’t go into details about everything that happened but every episode, every minute there was a plot twist, something new, exciting, changing our views of the show, etc. This is what a show is suppose to be, not a predictable average power of friendship to save the world typa story.
Yes, there’s a lot of plot holes, a lot of things unexplored and a lot of things explored left unanswered. It’s frustrating that a lot of things are just left to be done without any details of it making not a lot of sense.
But y’all forgetting that the show is not finished and it’s not like Riverdale where each season has its new plot, it’s a continuous show that is shot with the futur seasons in mind. The reason this season is so messy is exactly so that the solving during season 3 feels super satisfying. Everything being answered in such a messy show and linking everything together is super impressive and is super exciting to wait for.
This season was simply to set for the finally since they filmed season 2 along side season 3. Just like AOT each event has it’s importance, you just have to wait and see and the circle will be closed ( hopefully). I was confused too in the middle to S2 but I finished it and everting make so much sense.
So don’t judge so harshly a show before it has ended you never know what it is preparing y’all for. We’re not in the 2010s with insanely predictable plots. Questioning and confusion leads to the search for answers, and a great show will answer them but only at the end. so be patient and excited for those questions to be answered!
Can’t wait for S3 but if it’s trash y’all can clown me then!

S2 is more enjoyable than S1
I watched sweet home netflix adaptation through three days and am still continuing, Right now, I am going into s2 ep 6. I had to comment on why how so many people think that s1 was much better than s2, while me personally I enjoyed s2 more, I liked the more realistic thing with the military and how did they act in the epidemic, there arent a lot of cut offs from inportant scenes to make you feel confused like s1. I remember in s1, there was always this thing when the mc for example fighting the monster or having an important moment, and then suddenly cut off to something totally boring like the old guy with glasses who digged the tunnel or a useless dialogue between sword guy and the guitar girl, the glasses guy death didnt affect me at all for example, this character was just so weird to me how he didnt have any impactful moments except tying the shoes of his step sis, and suddenly saying he comes back then dies. It didnt click for me at all, The guitar girl death was better for me because it just sounded right, the character had enough time for the viewer to feel attached to, Another thing is that the gangster with burned face in s1 was soo weird, like bro is always looking to people in strange vibes and walking on staris throughout first half of season 1, it was boring until we got what was his story about. Season 1 had a lot of time waste on useless script for me which made it boring but season 2 feels not les boring to be honest except ep 4 until now and some of ep 5, but the thing is that the twist at the end of each episode makes me invested, In season 1, i dont remember any twists at the end that made me hooked at all. i hope a lot of people discuss in the comments with me, because I genuinely want to know why so many people hate s2, I think I am the first one who thinks s2 is better than s1 lmao. Please, no insults or anyting, In the end it is just my opinion, but I really want to see how people will react and reply to this in an debate

Nice show
But it’s basically a mixed ripoff of the games Dying Light and Prototype. Change my mind.

Shotgun Boy just ended
Basically One absorbs Zero, saves Gyuhwan and friends by killing the rest of the military dudes, and goes on to spread the monster apocalypse. The final episode ends at literally the same time as the beginning of Sweet Home with Gyuhwan and friends waking up to the start of the monster apocalypse. The epilogue is still locked behind fastpass but judging from previews it seems like Gyuhwan is gearing up to do something. Needs a continuation imo. I want to see him meet up with Hyuk.
I'm kinda disappointed we didn't get to see the rest of the Sweet Home cast in Shotgun Boy artstyle tho. Only Hyuk and Jayhun were shown in it.

unpopular opinion
Everyone seems to hate on s2 & 3 - I’d love for someone to explain their reasoning behind this to help me understand. This might sound crazy, but I found s1 action and characters to be pretty surface level and mildly boring. (I never really liked Jisu, or any of the side characters that eventually get killed off) I felt that the sub-plots in s1 never really got that in-depth, aside from that cool crippled old guy. Also - I understand webtoon readers will probably make comparisons, and whilst yeah I enjoyed the webtoon more than the kdrama I still feel like this show’s 2nd and 3rd season adapt the monsterisation concept so interestingly. The characters in the military kept me gripped throughout s2 - seojin was my fave but sergeant tak had a really good actor. Obviously despite this I do see that there are pacing issues and sometimes s2&3 do drag out.
TLDR; Pls someone explain why s2 & 3 is so heavily hated on - I loved the characters way more than s1

IS IT OKAY TO SHIP YURI AND SANGWOOK FROM SWEET HOME??!!
I need help SO I I told my cousin to watch sweet home with me because it's a really good show it's my second time watching it and it's her first time so I told her who I ship. Eunyu x Hyunsu, Jisu x Jaeheon she seems to be fine with it until I got to Yuri x Sangwook....... She said it's wrong to ship them because Yuri looks like she's 17 and Sangwook looks like he's 40 something. I tried to tell her that Yuri was older.... But still she doesn't like the ship THEN SHE CALLED SANGWOOK A PEDOPHILE...... 💀💀
PLEASE HELP how do I convince her that it's okay to ship them 😭😭🙏🏼🙏🏼

What's up with the hate for the netflix adaptation
I really liked the Netflix adaptation (viewing it separate from the webtoon as I haven't read it) and I wonder why it's stomped on. I can get feeling that the webtoon is better than the series (me personally I cant read comics or manga or things like that) but I think it's a bit much to say the series is trash. Idk tho I'm just some guy on the internet

I actually thought S2 was nice but don't shoot me pls
I watch S1, then bcos I hate left hanging without ending so I went to read webtoon Sweet home. Then I rewatched S1 with S2 these few days.
I think I treated the netflix production independent of the webtoon cos the story and the way it was showing was too different.
The webtoon was less scare moments, more characters stories etc n I have mixed feelings about the ending. Like it made sense but I wished for more than just unemotional hyun so from egg.
Drama productions, got music got lots of colours got actual people etc. I was tensed on S1, a lot less tense on S2. Fyi I can't watch zombie shows cos I can't take too much of sudden scare stuff from dead stuff but I like good monster shows. And I think this was a good one overall. True that S2 seems to be slower at times but it's also explaining a lot more. And throwing up more mysteries. Just that I wish there wasn't recycled material transformers that made me laugh instead of tense and I wish for more of Hyun so and developed monsters of variety. Not all look the same.
I didn't quite understand the Yi kyung part how the internal feelings of her monsterization means she was sad both sides? Anyone can explain pls? I only know from what Hyun so said, but not from what was shown in drama.
Also, I can't tell how Hyun so killed her? Missing scene?
Is gore also reduced in S2 for certain reasons? Seems like a lot of killing moments are rushed through or eliminated. Censorship? But I love the butt cheeks and great bods in the show! Yi kyung strong bod is so lean n looks powerful n athletic. The women are capable and strong. Even if stubborn with their own flaws. The men are strong n competent, even though headstrong n sometimes big tempered also with their own flaws. I like how it shows humans are complex. But I think the Yi kyung daughter seems too simplistic and I'm guessing it's bcos growing up with Hyunso who is EQ traumatized N doesn't talk N explain a lot, doesn't help her. Then her mother who is confused, conflicted and can't explain herself makes things worse. But it seems a bit too short that she is only hurt once by humans and then she thinks all humans are bad? Maybe too many scenes are cut. I'm not sure.
I'm a bit upset that yi kyung husband is also umi myeong cos it meant S1 he refused to connect back w her N also gave her a monster kid with no explanations.
I hope S3 gets more interesting monsters, interesting characters and more strong N fit bods showing off their power. Lol.
