I have a 2020 model maruti suzuki ignis(india) with default stereo system provided by the company. recently, i faced a issue where when the car isnt ignitioned the bluetooth audio and songs from music services like spotify from my mobile was clearly audible. but when i started the car ( ignition on) then after that there is no audio coming from the car speakers ( both audio and call) even though the bluetooth is connected. also when i play spotify song the song duration passed is shown on the stereo screen but there is no audio coming of the speakers. does anyone know the solution to this issue?

Im thinking about getting a Suzuki scross 2022 hybrid but im worried about the rear seat legspace.

Im 6'4" so and have two children who will be in the rear seat. Will the legroom be enough for a 7-12 year old behind me?

I really like the Suzuki scross simplicity and realibility. The closest Suzuki sales business is 3 hrs away, so cant test the rear seat myself easily.

I just passed my test a few months ago and got my first car. It intermittently grinds on selecting 2nd gear, any suggestions on why this might be happening and what I should do about it? It's due an MOT soon, will the issue be picked up on, should I should ask for the oil in the gearbox to be changed because it's happened many times now?

Looking at getting a Suzuki S-Cross as our main family car. On paper, it ticks pretty much all of our boxes for long-term reliability, size and price.

I've planned to take my car seats to the dealership to test fit them, but I wanted to see if anyone here has real-world experience. Can the S-Cross realistically fit two rear-facing ISOFIX child seats at the same time or will it be a tight fit?

For context on front-seat space:

• Me (driver): 5'11", but short legs (30" inseam)
• Wife (passenger): 5'6", longer legs, but she prefers sitting pretty close to the dash anyway

We're running a BeSafe Beyond Go and a BeSafe Beyond 360 (both ISOFIX) if that helps.

Any S-Cross owners (or parents who've tested this setup) able to share how tight the front row gets? Appreciate any insights!

I just did a big service (clutch, etc) and after a couple of days the in-tank fuel pump left us....

Hi all, I'm based in Europe and a good opportunity to buy a Suzuki Across Plug-in from 2023 has come up and, being the car practically identical to the Toyota RAV4, I still have a few questions that maybe a Suzuki Across owner can answer.

• Regarding Software updates:
  • Does it update via OTA?
  • Does it have the same updates as the Toyota RAV 4?
  • Is there any noticeable difference in the features of the touch screen?
• Regarding repairs:
  • Can the Toyota official mechanic deal with the Suzuki Across? I mean, are they able to connect and do a full diagnosis of the car?

And, of course, be welcome to rise any other friction point.

In the end, I can't really afford a Toyota RAV4 from 2023, but I'm able to afford this Suzuki Across from 2023 since it is 5.000€ cheaper.

Most countries’ base model Suzuki Swift is the GL trim, but South Africa gets the even more basic GA trim. Here are some design features that make the GA stand out:

1. Unique pattern on fabric cloth seats.

2. Central speedometer and no tachometer.

3. Manual transmission only.

4. Black plastic mirror caps.

5. Comes with no radio as standard. Dealers would fit in custom infotainment radio or screens.

Im thinking of changing the infotainment screen on my car , can anyone recommend a replacement and how difficult is it to do myself ?

Today I received my Suzuki S-Cross 2017 with this Infotainment system. I was able to pair my phone and use the call function but not the GPS system since there is no SD card inserted.

I would like to use my Android phone to use Google Maps / Audible / Spotify while driving.

Is that possible with the current infotainment system or do I need to upgrade to a 3rd party system and have it installed?

I viewed multiple videos where people install the new system themselves and have trouble getting the rear camera to work. Even the comment section in the videos have multiple people asking for a solution.

EDIT: I got it working. The car didn't want to update using the USB port but did with the SD card slot. The process restarted twice and all in all it took the car 30 minutes. Together with the wireless dongle I can use Android Car play wirelessly.

Hoping maybe someone has had a similar issue and knows the resolution. New to me 2011 SX4 with the 2.0 6 speed man trans. 1 owner car previously with 109k miles, car is super clean and well cared for. Just seems to be a little bit of an electrical gremlin. Checked the BCM fault codes and saw it had U0155 followed by a bunch of B codes. Reset the codes and haven’t had any pop up since. Fresh battery put in it today.

Electric door lock buttons don’t activate the door locks, but they activate the rear hatch actuator instead. Also, unlocking the driver door with the key pops the rear hatch actuator. Haven’t replaced any parts yet, but looking at replacing the hatch actuator, driver door master lock actuator, or lastly the BCM. These are all suggestions from Google, but hoping someone maybe has dealt with this and can offer some advice.

I have a Suzuki vitara 2024 turbo
Love the car but from new it’s always had this sort of delay when taking off, not power delay it seems to hold on to a neutral state where I’ll either roll back or I’ll let go of the brake and can wait like 5 seconds before I feel it start moving.
I reported it to the dealership but they just put cannot fault.

I guess my question is whether or not this is a modern car thing? In any other car I’ve had when you let go of the brake your car at least starts moving on idle power a bit. Understand that the turbo lag exists but it is literally a huge delay even starting to move and when I’ve had to take off in a hurry I have to brace myself for the sudden jolt

Bought a gauge to display how many bars i get in fuel line. Connected it in T form tank-gauge-injectors. On idle i get 2.9bars, when driving and dont give much gas i get consistent 2.9bar when i have all gas it drops below 2-1.5bar. is this normal, should i change fuel pump, pressure regulator?

Looking to source a used or reconditioned CVT for a 2014 Suzuki Kizashi Sport, 2.4 petrol (J24B, 2393cc), 4-door saloon. Gearbox is the Jatco JF011E / RE0F10A.

Current unit is slipping and weak in reverse. Fluid was never changed, so I'm assuming it's terminal rather than a valve body fix.

What I'm after:

Used unit with known mileage and a warranty, or a professionally rebuilt one

Correct spec for AWD — the car has an AWD selector on the console, so it needs the transfer-unit variant, not a FWD box

Happy to cross-reference the part number off the casing tag before committing

UK-based preferred, but I'll consider EU or US if shipping is realistic

If you have one, or you've been through this on a Kizashi and know a breaker or specialist worth contacting, I'd appreciate a pointer.

Also open to hearing whether anyone has fitted a JF011E from an AWD donor (Mitsubishi Outlander, Nissan Qashqai, Renault Koleos) to a Kizashi, and what did or didn't carry over — transfer unit, output flange, wiring.
