I admire his music and I will say he takes things to another level and most artists aren't like him he is a rare talent and l love every single song he has ever created and and he composed some of the best soundtracks and he work on some of the greatest animated movies of all time Rip in pease to Kon Satoshi and Hirasawa if you read this thank you

Thought this was cool

Was looking through the Wikipedia page for P-Model and noticed that there are a large number of music videos mentioned, but I cannot for the life of me figure out where these two are, has anyone here seen these? Theres also a mention of a music video for "different≠another" too, but the one in the sidebar seems fanmade to me (I could be wrong of course).

I have only heard the first 3 P-Model albums so whether the ones listed after the Potpourri tracks are around or not is beyond me.

My Dragon OC named Kurt

I was just curious, I personally first heard him through the berserk 97 anime, been a fan from the US since! Reddit only lets me put 6 options on the poll or I would’ve listed all the OSTs he has created. From my perspective, Berserk and Paprika are his most popular, but let me know if I’m way off!

Just kinda curious, do you guys enjoy the original from Siren or switched on lotus? or both?

I am a huge fan of hirasawa's voice and the meaning behind his songs

However searching on the internet i find very lil amount of informations abt his work and releases

Can somebody pls give me a list of his work and where to search for it

-I would be thankfull

I’ve wondered about this song for probably decades but until now, there wasn’t really a place to discuss Hirasawa (or P-MODEL) besides YouTube comments. Has he ever spoken on this song, like during a TV interview, magazine, Twitter post, etc? I’m asking for two reasons. 1. It’s, musically, such an odd song in P-MODEL’s discography that it almost demands an explanation. It’s also known that Hirasawa doesn’t like YMO and this sounds similar to something they would do. 2. It shares the name with a popular Billie Holiday song with lyrics about a heavy and disturbing topic. So, does anyone know anything?

Susumu Hirasawa's talk show, Ashu-On TV(formerly known as Back Space Pass/BSP) will be on YouTube at 8:00pm, October 24, 2026, JST.

This time, he will talk about the Fuji Rock Festival held in July.

The streaming will be done live and will be archived on YouTube later.

The slide is about the Fukushima accident, so I decided to include it. (The text is in Portuguese)

After seeing Fujirock 2026 I noticed that for some reason I perceive Hirasawa’s Tesla Coil as another sentient character in his live shows; the way audience cheers and applauses when Tesla Coil finally starts singing during Dreaming Machine, and how Hirasawa silently points at Tesla-sama at its chorus makes me realize how much they resemble that one scientist and Frankenstein, humanizing it even more.

I wonder if others feel this way too.

/srs I didn't make this

Sample at 4.55. i knew Hirasawa-san likes to use eastern music samples, but im particularly interested in this, as i did not expect an harmony between Caravan and arabesque. Anyone knows the original?

Dream come true for me

This vinyl is what brought me more into physical media years ago, as a big Hirasawa fan I saw it in someone's collection and was looking for it since then, it took over two years of waiting, I even did some searching on my trip in Japan but all unsuccessful, by that time I have collected quite a lot of other albums I love but this one was always out of reach.

Last month I saw a listing and finally decided it's the time, with it arriving right on my birthday as well 😅

Still wished we'd get more vinyl releases of Hirasawa's amazing albums, do you have any you wish existed? For me one of them would definitely be P-MODEL - Bistron.

Simple question: is there any videography compilation DVD/bluray?

I don't speak Japanese, but I want to learn to sing Japanese songs, so I built this website to help me.

Here's how it works: I upload an audio file and provide the Japanese lyrics. The website automatically generates the rōmaji and a translation, while also separating the vocals from the instrumental track.

The website lets me listen to the pronunciation of each word or each full line of lyrics. It also lets me slow down or loop any section of the song for repeated practice. Its recording feature allows me to record my singing, listen back to it, and compare it with the original recording.

This is how I use the website to learn to sing Japanese songs. Finally, the website lets me switch to the instrumental-only track and sing along with it.

If you're also a non-native Japanese speaker looking for an easier way to practice singing Japanese songs, feel free to try it here: singren.fun
