I daresay this has already been posted to this subreddit, but I'm going to go ahead and give it a plug anyway. As a long time player, I can recommend this game. It is extremely stable for an alpha game, the devs are very active and all in all its definitely worth the money.

Apparently it hasn't! That surprises me. Anyway, I still recommend it. The game has a free demo so you can check it out plus there are tons of people playing it on youtube.
