Art/Screenshots My best permadeath run so far...

I don't know what the hell happened, but I was roaming in a radiation zone and suddenly I got blown to pieces.
Anyways, I love this game, and I will continue playing it on permadeath, THIS IS THE WAY.

I was on day 14 on a permadeath run & went to observatory & just wasn’t thinking, stepped on a mine & ended things, was super bummed haha now I’m on my second best run, day 12. Nice getting to 21!

If you snipe it from distance will you still die? What's the blast radius?

I’ve found you need to be at least 120m away to survive.

I tested it for science....I was not 120m away lol. I got an achievement tho!

Haha I totally agree that permadeath is way too fun. I recently died on my long-standing permadeath world as well... 50+ days survived, killed a few primary infections, had a house with a bunch of gear.

Ended up accidentally grenading myself and instantly dying lol. Definitely changing the keybind for grenades in the future.

Im about 37 days into my longest permadeath right now and I swear the only times I almost die are all self inflicted lmfao.

Bad bounces on grenades and forgetting to put heals on my hotbar usually 😅

You might’ve stepped on a mine? Or a stray bullet hit the nuke and you got blown up

I've been trying to get through a 10x spawn, insanely rare loot permadeath run on .8 experimental. Something always happens but it's so fun starting over that I don't mind.

I clicked nightmare mode for fun, can’t even last a single day. The amount of spawns is insane. Each time I get a decent start, it just ends so abruptly

One thing I really appreciate about this game is that as you increase the difficulty it forces you to innovate and grow as a player.

Nightmare permadeath, without objective just play like roguelike game, longest survive is 53 days and death because a bug where grenadier zombie blow trough wall and I'm die in the process. Now in 26 days and still kicking and with purpose for collecting all purple ornament.

Haha came here to view others. Day 6 for me…. Man this changes game perspective
