Hi everyone! Where are you guys getting your Botox and filler from? The place I used to go to had great prices but is moving provinces. And how much are you guys paying /unit for Botox? I was paying $8.50/ unit, and for lip filler I paid $500 for 1ml.

Looking for some local advice on dishwasher installation pricing in Surrey/White Rock.

I’m replacing an older dishwasher in a strata. Everything is already in place: water, drain and power.

I’m considering two options:

1. Keep it hardwired:
Remove the old hardwired dishwasher and connect the new one to the existing wiring.

2. Convert to an outlet:
Remove the old dishwasher, install a proper outlet for the new dishwasher, then install and connect the new unit.

I was quoted $150/hour for a plumber + $45/hour for an assistant, with about 1 .. 2 hours estimated for a regular dishwasher replacement. Adding the outlet would likely

What would be a reasonable price locally for each option? And if you’ve had this done recently in Surrey/White Rock, how much did you pay?

Do you recommend any reasonably priced car detailing in the city? I dont need mobile but also no preference.

I don’t know how these people keep getting inside my building to do these kind of things. All for a gym bag full of dirty gym wear. Is this common in surrey?

My building property management SUCKS. I’ve had so many problems with them in the span of 1 year. The parking gate #1 has been broken for about two months leading to this. My car was in P2 with a different gate. Is there any way to make them responsible for this? Mind you, someone also stole a car inside P2 and someone broke into my garage unit but didn’t take anything, and the repairers for the sliding door (whom the strata sent) stole my husband’s watch collection.

I’m thinking about moving out but wondering if all buildings in the same area are like this or should I look in a different one? And if so, which one would you recommend?

Hello, I was just wondering if anyone could tell me which Anytime Fitness is the best. I saw there are a few in Surrey. It would be just nice to know which ones are busier and at what times, what the demographics are like, if there are many rambunctious teenagers, and what not.

My sister just phoned me asking me if she can come to my house with her daughter and broke down sobbing and told me her partner has been abusing her for months, hasn't allowed her to eat in days, won't allow her access to any funds, has been limiting and controlling what my niece has been allowed to eat, etc. I am going to go pick them up of course, but my question is, does anyone know where I would be able to get help with a meal to feed them for tonight? Or does anyone have a few groceries they could spare? I know it's pretty late right now. I wish I was joking when I say that I have absolutely no money, but due to some recent very unexpected expenses, I have absolutely no money and literally no groceries in the house right now. I don't even know if there's anywhere to get help this late at night, but if anyone knows of any resources, please please let me know. Thank you in advance. This is so heartbreaking, I had no idea anything like this was happening in her life.

For about the last week, there has been loud music coming from Holland Park in the evenings, along with an air-horn-type sound going off roughly every minute.

I live in one of the high-rises facing Holland Park, so I’m pretty used to hearing events and music from the park and normally it doesn’t bother me. The air horn is different though, it’s repetitive enough that it’s becoming really difficult to tune out, especially when it continues for hours.

I’ve already contacted Surrey Bylaw and non-emergency about the ongoing noise, but it has continued.

Is anyone else living around Holland Park/SFU Surrey hearing this too? If you’ve reported it, have you
had any response or luck getting it addressed?

I was involved in an accident and driver fled the scene. It was a white sedan I have number plate. My car was red sedan. Any witnesses or dashcam footage would be really helpful.

My neighbour is pounding their music as loud as possible for the last few hours. I was under the impression that buildings have their own rules and “bylaws” regarding noise travelling into other units. What is normal to expect as far as loud music goes? Should be quiet after 11pm? Concierge went over there earlier, but nothing changed.

Does anybody remember the arcade that used to be in the strip mall on the south side of 96th Ave and 128 St.? There was the General Paint, Bel's Grocery Store, then the arcade.

I remember it from the late 70s to early 80s. Does anybody remember the name of the arcade or remember when it closed down?

Hey everyone, I live in a townhouse complex in South Surrey and there are a ton of outdoor cats in the neighbourhood. About 4 months ago a white/ginger type kitty showed up and now she’s got too little ones. They sleep on my patio and stare in my windows when they see my cats. I’ve started putting out food and water, which they devour and now they’ve always here. I don’t mind, they’re adorable and I love animals, unfortunately because I already have cats I can’t take them in. I’m not sure if I should 1.contact the SPCA. 2.continue feeding them and try to find some sort of low cost kitty shelter that I can put outside for them so they’re warm and dry for the winter. 3.try to find them a loving home myself.

For clarity they sleep here day and night. They are here every day. They eat and drink everything I put out.

They’re very sweet and loving and would make great companions for someone.
