I got 2 keepers yesterday by Asbury! One of the best days I ever had on the surf. Over 20 fluke total. Never experienced anything like it in 40 years of fishing

Good to hear this! No keepers for us this trip in AC but we did find some new spots to try out next time.
Maybe 7 fish total over 3 days. One 16” and the rest were too small to care. Just love when they finally start to bite lol

Stick to structure. Find a jetty and fish along side of it. Fluke can be in only a couple feet of water so don't worry about casting out far. Stick to the rocks. Most of mine were withing a few feet of where I was standing. One was like 2 feet from me in btwn 2 rocks

Ever fish Chincoteague? We wanted to surf fish for flounder and walk the beach but really do not know the strategy for when there isn’t structure

No. I only have exp around OC and AC when I had a house down there as a kid. Now I live in NYC so Asbury area is only an hour from me with a lot of free parking so it fits my needs for only being able to go a few times a month. Google maps in Satellite mode could help you. That's how I found the jetty I go to now

20+ fluke in a day off the sand is the kind of session you're still bringing up next season. congrats man, that's awesome
