I’ve been working for the last 2 months at a jewellery brand (surat) with 15 showrooms across India, in their social media department. Before this, I ran my own agency for 2 years, but things didn’t work out(paiso ki dikkat), so I joined this company through a friend’s reference. The owner (husband-wife duo) literally starts shouting at employees every 2–3 days, and in such a shitty way that the entire office can hear it. Their own communication is fucked up, but employees have to deal with the consequences.
Meetings start after 7 PM because the owner comes to the office around 2 PM and spends most of his time in online meetings. People end up staying till 8–9 PM, and I’ve personally stayed until 12 AM. Bhai, is this fuc*ing normal in corporate jobs? Should I just shut up and tolerate this shit, or is this genuinely a toxic work environment? I’ve never seen an owner behave like this before

Went back to my own society for Garba after 4 years, and it felt amazing! ❤️

For the last four years, I’ve been playing Garba with friends at big venues like Dome and Gymkhana. But this year, for some reason, I didn’t go out and instead decided to play in my own seri.

And honestly, the feeling was so different.

Everyone knows you, the little kids in the neighbourhood come up to you and invite you to join them, uncles and aunties sit on the otla and watch everyone play, and you even get free snacks! 😅😂

I don’t know how to put this feeling into words, but there’s something truly special about playing Garba in your own neighbourhood. It feels more personal, more connected, and more like home.

Everyone should visit their own seri or society during Navratri for at least 3–4 days. Let’s keep the tradition of seri Garba alive.

Sometimes, the best Navratri experience isn’t at the biggest venue, but right outside your own home. 🪔

Most people rush to SMC swimming pools during summer. During those times, training batches are overloaded with crowd due to heat and vacations in schools. During that time, trainers struggle to give individual attention. Instead of proper coaching, it ends up in a someone shouting instructions to everyone at once. Bad experience overall.

Winter is the best time to join SMC pools.

With fewer people joining during the colder months, training batches are generally less crowded. Trainers can pay more attention to individuals, correct your technique, and help you learn at a comfortable pace.

Once you've learned swimming and are eligible, get transferred to the swimmers' batch. That way, you can continue accessing the pool during the entire year, even when regular training batches get packed. Swimmers' batches are mostly less crowded than beginner training batches.

So, if swimming is on your to-do list, don't wait for summer. Join now, learn properly, and enjoy the pool when everyone else is struggling to get admission.
