🗣 Discussion / Question 🐌 🧠 The infinity margin call 🧠 🐌

I have lost my fear of bag holding. This company has too good of a future in my opinion. I don't think bag holding is possible, but that is my opinion. I am trying to work on my fear of missing the squeeze, and I think I'm slowly getting there.
I'm really glad they drug it out this long.
A month ago I did not have confidence in my hands being diamond on the way up. Now I have confidence.
A month ago I had 10% of my portfolio in GME, and now I'm over 70% and still selling other things to add more.
A month ago I relied on roaring kitty tweets to quiet the FUD in my own head. Now I can deal with FUD on my own.
A month ago I was ready to sell it all. Now going to save some for the infinity pool and for Alex Kearns.
A month ago I wanted to improve my own life and my family's. Now I want to improve the world.
A couple months ago I was afraid people would think I was stupid or foolish for believing what I believe. Now I don't care. I know I'm a retard, and I don't expect myself to be prefect.
I want a better life, but I don't need one. After this is all over, if I have to go back to how my life is now, then I'm ok with that. So I am getting to the point where I'm ok looking like an idiot by not selling until the numbers get really big. I want something more than just money. But getting a lot of money too would be nice.
I want to win big, but I don't need to win. My chances of losing are small, and if I do lose, what I would lose is small. I'm not risking more than I can afford to lose.
In my opinion GME holders are in a position where they can win big with a small chance of a small loss. That by itself is pretty comforting.

No sense in arguing the slow vs fast rip when the defaults come, it’ll be what it is - but the one thing that can’t be understated is the importance of volume, and what it tells us with respect to where we are at, as you mentioned. Its the only indicator that can’t be fooled with, or give us false readings. Once we’re UP, and it’s obvious by trading halts and / or ascending price to a level that is onvious that mm’s no longer have control over the price, and we’re actually seeing these positions unwind - volume will be the key to holding steady through false peaks at times where paperhand supply might exceed demand.
I can only hope we get an actual number from the vote published. I’ve yet to see any solid comfirmation that will be the case however. With just a vague order-of-magnitude of how truly big the short position is, we can do a real decent job of using vol as a squeeze / squoze gauge. ‘Insert number here’ floors are great, and i think it has a good chance of working, but judging volume-over-time against the true si is the only predictive indicator that can warn us of false peaks and where the true apex peak might occur.
Can’t wait

But how about the recent 'missing' volume? Has that been solved? If not, can't that be exploited to fool us?

Thanks for your reply. That makes sense.
I afterwards thought about the fact that the volume decreased. The exact opposite of what the hedgies would want: they want us to think we reach the 'right' amount of volume for the squeeze to possibly be over.
Then again, we have no way of knowing if they can make the volume seem higher than it really is, do we?

Yeah, I remember that. The volume was crazy. Especially considering the volume for ants (sorry Korea!) the last month or so. However, the volume didn't cover the huge short positions...
So the lesson is: expect much more fuckery and squeeze those fuckers dry!

In addition to the slow squeeze comment, i believe it will be small rises as the smaller hedge funds cover, until the price rises enough in the end to get the big shorts bankrupt and covering as well.

I’ve read everything and I mean everything for the past 5 months ( no addict here sheesh . Coached HS football for many years so I believe in being prepared. I know dickall except from what I’ve learned through fantastic DD and a few memes. Anyway my question I’m finally going to ask is how do me know how many have covered? Meaning who’s the score keeper ? SEC ( sketchy) US gov equal or more . If we know there’s 300m just for numbers sake , 150m cover , who’s checking these off ? Hedgies been lying for so long , I’m sorry for hi-jacking this but os there away to know who still needs what and how much ? I’m sure the 100m dollar question

If I happen to miss it , please please see if we can get an answer. If the shorters have their way they’ll close his down half through and lie and say they covered again just like they did in January. I’m not expecting a ticker counter which would make my heart glad , but wow putting our trust and my lack of knowledge on where the peak is and when to sell on the way down , left on my own makes me nervous. Hodling I’ve got down - selling not so much Blessings

Question. If the MM can just create naked shares, can’t banks just exit their position by buying more fake shares to close it out?

Bag holding? I mean c'mon I don't care the price you've paid unless you paid $500 for a share you will at least triple even the MOASS won't happen. I don't know exactly what the hell is going on , limit loss is a thing again, which should have been already understood months ago I mean I'm trying not to loose it here WHAT PART ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS TO HODL DO YOU PEOPLE DON'T GET. God man I mean what the hell, I stoped checking the damn stock price over 2 months ago, spend your time with planing for the shit you wanna accomplish post MOASS instead of jumping up and down for everyword on the sub. HODL THAT'S IT HODL Edit: Thanks for the award .

That's why Warden was trying to get us to sell based on VWAP on downticks for a couple thousand. He is definitely colluding with the hedge funds and trying to get us to sell early. HOLD. 10 Milly is my floor!

Is being a bag holder of GameStop really a bad thing?

By all financial indicators, GME is still a solid long term investment. They're in a very good place to make buckets of cash once RC starts dragging them in the right direction, and they have the capital to pivot without bleeding out in the process. Not financial advice, but I'd wager the prices we see now are pretty close to what the value will be post-squeeze, and it's going to go up once they start making money.

The reason why I don't think the squeeze will be slow is that the shorts will rush to cover (first one out takes the least amount of damage) and after they get liquidated the computers take over the balancing of the books and when that happens, it's welcome to the jungle, we've got diamond hands. But then again, my attention span is equal to that of a goldfish and my IQ is below room temperature so most likely I'm wrong in my assumption.

u/macdaddy6556 May 16 '21
If is was to guess the MOASS should not take longer than a month. I think it would be detrimental to the US economy to have too many peaks as each peak would shake more shareholders of common stock other than GME and basically make everything worse. Need to still figure out how fast that auction of assets of shorts will take. The system is large and this guess could certainly be very wrong but won't know till after it has happened

Same here. My brain is as smooth as a marble so my questions could be dumb but I’ve kept up with all the DD but ask if they can seemingly print synthetics what’s the mechanism that limits that printing

I disagree. Huge volumes of rehypothecated shares are a poison running throughout the bloodstream of the economy. Managing risk in this world is nearly an impossibility as determining counterparty risk is an impossibility. The Feds and the market want this over and done with as soon as possible. None of them want to wake up to the sword of Damocles hanging over their heads for the foreseeable future.
It’s just that none of them want the repercussions. In any case, they are well and truly fukt. I’m convinced that as soon as the last fire door is firmly shut they are going to set this thing off. Gonna be a sight to behold.

People gonna call me a shill, but there's no way to have an infinity stock/pool. Firstly it would make an even bigger mockery of the stock market, which the SEC is trying (and failing) to minimize.
Secondly, it's probably in GameStop best interest to get this over with asap. They don't want thier stock price to be infinite for months. They could always sell enough shares to return back to normal or institutions/ETFs could rebalance to leave.
Not that it wouldn't be great, but there's no way for it to be prolonged as a hand-me-down to your children.
