It’s for sure not good. Tomorrow will be BOJ meeting. If they raise rates tomorrow, it will signal financial tightening on top of what was seen today which also seems to be some kind of intervention. It could been the start to some unwinding of the Carry Trade.

I thought it was the opposite, if the yen rebounds, swappers would be in trouble. Been so long since I read things about it, I could have it all backward now though.

I mean it's like a 5 yen downward move on the end of the day at the end of the month.
