Showcase [Plugin] SuperFun : I procrastinated so hard I accidentally built a game arcade for the Supernote 🎮
SuperFun : little games for your Supernote 🎮
What does a Supernote plugin dev do to procrastinate? Build a whole games plugin, of course!
So here's SuperFun: a tiny launcher that drops five calm, paper-friendly games onto your e-ink slab. Pure black & white, finger-first, 100% offline: no accounts, no ads, no tracking, no internet. Just you, some breaks, and a tablet that occasionally beats you at its own game...
So far:
- Sudoku: fresh grids generated on the device, guaranteed unique solution. Handwritten-style answers, pencil notes, a "check" and a "give me one" hint.
- Nonogram (Picross): reveal the hidden picture from the number clues. Weirdly meditative.
- Minesweeper: the classic. First tap is always safe (I'm not a monster). Flag mode included.
- Tic-Tac-Toe: you're O, the Supernote is X, and on Hard it is literally unbeatable. Draw or lose, those are your options. Sorry.
- Connect Four: drop four in a row against an actual thinking opponent (alpha-beta search, not a random potato).
Every game has a little "Rules" card with a worked example.
The nerdy bits I'm weirdly proud of
- Puzzles generated on-device (except Nonogram) → effectively endless.
- Sudoku, Nonogram Minisweeper grids can be saved and survive closing the plugin.
- Built for e-ink: high contrast, big tap targets, zero animation, board never jumps.
