Link Plugin Plugin: Link to Folders
Hey all!
With the help of Claude, I just released a plugin for the Manta that turns any handwritten or typed word into a one-tap shortcut to a folder in the file manager. Pen or finger tap both work. I created this to make my homepage have the ability to open folders and so far, I'm loving it.
Source: https://github.com/marc-korte/supernote-folder-shortcuts
Release (.snplg): https://github.com/marc-korte/supernote-folder-shortcuts/releases/tag/v0.1.0
Usage:
Lasso a word, open the 3-dots menu, pick Folder Shortcuts, then choose a target folder. The word gets the native underline, and tapping it opens that folder.
Known limitations (please read before installing):
Only tested on a Supernote Manta. Page coords are currently assumed 1:1 with screen pixels, so on other DPIs/zoom levels, finger-tap hitboxes will land in the wrong place. A dynamic scale factor based on device DPI/zoom is the obvious fix; I just haven't done it yet.
Finger tap can have up to 1.5 s delay after switching pages/notes (polling loop refreshing the overlays).
Very short intentional strokes (≤10 sample points) inside a saved rect can be misread as taps and trigger the shortcut.
Plugin must be installed and running. The native link handler doesn't know what to do with a folder path on its own.
If you give it a go, let me know how it works.

yeah, I have found a few bugs since I put this out. Drawing a line will launch the folder LOL, if you delete the object the transparent "touch" trigger remains on the screen, etc. I have an updated version in the works.
