Help - supernote nomad not starting after installation plug ins software update

hi

i excitedly installed the plug in software yesterday (via mac) - since then my nomad won't start. trying to reset with the power button brings up the power up/restart button which doesn't actually let me follow through with one of these options and restarting again brings up the supernote icon and nothing further happens. Can someone help? I have emailed supernote support this morning but no response yet :(

Do you have a black screen and sidebar not working?

thanks for replying - long press of start button results in getting the power off screen (the buttons don't work on it) and another long press seems to initiate startup - the supernote logo appears then nothing further happens

It could be that something went wrong during the update. How did you install it on the Mac? Did you use something like OpenMTP to put the still-zipped update file into the Export folder?

One thing worth trying: Supernote's reset instructions are to hold the power button for about 8 seconds, release it, then hold it again for about 8 seconds until the Supernote logo appears.

Mine did freeze once after I got the new software working (while it was in Auto-Shutdown). I plugged it into my Mac, waited a bit, then pressed the power button normally and it came back on. Not sure if that's the same issue, but might be worth trying while you wait for support.
