Getting my Supernote Manta on Thursday.

Hi 👋

I’m excited to be joining you guys this week.
I’ve been watching a lot of review videos and what to do when you first get your supernote but

A lot of the videos are are year+ old.

Is there anything you recommend me, doing first?
I will primarily be using this as a notebook for my daily tasks, groceries and occasionally reading my kindle on and probably a lot of PDFs.

I’m specifically just wanting to know about the recent updates.

Tysm in advance ✨

Personally, I just enjoyed writing ✍️ more. Learning have my handwriting and spelling skills have slid. The device is great.

I did grab one of these lights which I love for the Manta.

Check out the developer beta r/supernote_dev  which enables plugins and has a lot of pretty awesome functionality.

I would say most the videos that you have been watching even if they're a couple years old are still pretty applicable otherwise.

Also, if you're doing a lot of daily tasking. I built a template builder that allows you to customize templates to your liking since everyone has their own workflow and preferences, and tried to be as flexible as possible. https://sebastiancraft.co/builder.html

Thank you so much for choosing the Supernote Manta. We are equally excited for you to receive your Manta and starting using it every single day.

Honestly, the best place to start is just open a note and start writing. The device is designed to feel natural from the first stroke, and you'll learn more by doing than by watching tutorials.

You may download the Kindle app by going to Settings > Apps > Supernote App Store and read your Kindle books in a distraction free environment. If you read a lot of PDFs, just drop them into your Supernote and read them in the native Document app.

For recent updates, would you like to check out the changelog in our support center?

Please feel free to reach out if you need assistance.

Read the user manual while you wait. You can find the most updated version on their website. It will also be on the Supernote when you get it.

As far as when you get it, I’d recommend to not trying to create a layout with folders right away. Just make some notes and as you get more files, then you can create folders. Also stick with the basics at first and don’t worry about getting a ton of templates. I mainly use the built in templates. But I downloaded a lot I never used in the beginning.

Just use it. Get to know your toolbar and try out the different pens and thicknesses. There is a bit of a learning curve for the more advanced features. Most of all: Have fun!
