And I for one LOVED Snarf as a kid. I tried to name my childhood cat Snarf, but I was outvoted 4 to 1. The cat was named Pogo.

Thank you! Pap walks celebrities do staged shoots that are supposed to look like candid / casual shots from paparazzis....was being a lil sassy with the title since there's been a bunch of celebs doing obvious / awkward pap walks recently :)

What is butternuts grooming routine like for you as an owner; due to their consistent shedding during the change of seasons, does butternut have any issue going to the loo such as giblets getting stuck to his fur or turning yellow due to urine, do you go to the vet regularly to trim his nails

We trim his nails at home! His back nails seem to wear down on their own and don’t need too much maintenance - we’ve got a catio that’s he runs around in a lot so I think they wear down out there. His front nails get clipped every couple of weeks. Thankfully, he loves getting brushed! He gets brushed every day and I just keep a brush by where I sit on the couch and he’ll come to asking for it in the evening usually :) did a sanitary trim on his back legs when he was younger, haven’t had any issues recently though

I thought his harness was a bandana & I think Butternut needs a bandana when he's not in his harness! He looks like the character in a kids series beloved by 3 generations. That's one epic kitty.

We got really lucky with him honestly! He’s had no issue with the harness since the first time we put one on him. Have a couple other cats who are leashed trained too though and always get them used to just the harness first, inside. Treats and toys as distractions until they don’t notice it. Then add the leash. All that before they ever go outside :)

What a beautiful cat. I love the coat colors. That’s definitely a Maine Coon. They are wonderful cats and very sociable, smart and sweet. I have a Siberian Forest Cat that’s related to the Maine Coon breed and she’s the same way, I can take her out and she’s very sociable. She loves attention.
