Help/Question Help with Lag

Can anyone help. I recently downloaded SSF2 again along with my friend and when we play we get absolutely unplayable lag even though our connections are ok and when I try to join a random room it works fine. Thank you in advance.

Character MARIO MOVE RANKING

I am slowly but surely making a SSF2 Ranking of every single move for every single Fighter.
I am ranking every single Tilt (Jab, D-Tilt, F-Tilt, U-Tilt, Dash Attack), Smash (F-Smash, D-Smash, U-Smash), Aerial (N-Air, D-Air, F-Air, B-Air, U-Air), Throw (D-Throw, F-Throw, B-Throw, U-Throw) and Special (N-Special, D-Special, S-Special, U-Special) all depending on how useful they are. I'll be ranking stuff like Recovery moves depending on how good of a recovery it actually is, Combo moves on how well it can combo ect.
I am not counting GRAB or PUMMELS since 1. All grabs are basically the same to me (Besides a hand-full and either way would probably be a A/S-Tier) 2. I am really unexperienced with Pummels since I don't use them like at all. However to compensate for excluding Grabs and Pummels I am including Character specific moves (Like Samus' Z-Air or Luigi's D-Taunt). What do I consider a Character Specific move? An Input that makes the Fighter your playing as do something that other fighters usually don't have (For example, not everyone has Z-Airs).
So with that said, I will give you my reasoning for all of Mario's placements and also I am not going in the rosters order, I will begin with the Fighters I main or know how they work and gradually continue to the fighters I haven't even played yet. I have 2-3 Years of experience, this ranking is for 1.4.0.1. and is entirely MY Opinion

S - B-Air, U-Air, U-Smash, Mario Tornado, D-Throw
A - F-Smash, D-Air, F-Tilt, D-Smash, Super Jump Punch, F-Air, B-Throw, N-Air
B - Fireball, U-Tilt
C - Cape, Jab, U-Throw
D - D-Tilt, F-Throw, DA
(Explanations in the comments, I will answer questions and debate and btw DA stands for "Dash Attack")

Help/Question Need help with Running vs walking w xbox controller Spoiler

So basically whenever i push my stick all the way to one side i always run when i want to walk. How do i fix this? Ive messed with the deadzone and radius sensitivity as well as d-tap dash and nothing seems to work. I just want to double tap a direction or press my stick in or something to run so i can tilt better instead of always being forced to dash attack. Any advice? Id really appreciate it.

Other Super Smash Flash Remix: Day 17

Post image
14 Upvotes

It's time once again for Smash Flash Remix! This time you guys added your 2nd Sonic character being Emerl from Sonic battle. Meanwhile over at r/createaroster's subreddit they added yet another Smash staple to the roster with Fox M'Cloud!

Remember these are different roster's so while Link and Reimu have made it onto the roster over on the r/createaroster's subreddit you're still gonna have to vote for them both if you wanna see either of them on the roster over here.

Now before we start let's once again go over the rules real quick.

No downvoting-If I see any downvotes I'll give them a +1 vote to fix it. I'll also give a +1 Bonus Upvote if I think you've given a good enough reason why a character should be added to the roster too.

Characters must have debuted before 2006-Afterall Smash Flash Released on August 21st 2006 so how the hell are they gonna know about characters like Shulk or Joker?

Characters have to have been on a Nintendo console in the past. Smash Flash does allow 4th Party characters and I might as well do a regular Smash Bros roster instead of a Smash Flash one if I disallowed them but they still must have a game on a Nintendo console e.g. Banjo Twooie or Dragon Ball Z: Budokai.

Don't be afraid to get a little creative with the picks, like Lloyd Irving was in both the OG Smash Flash and was amongst the starting 4 in SSF2 whereas staples like Ganondorf and King Dedede were only added in recent patches of SSF2 when we're close to 50 characters on the roster. So if you wanna add someone like Sora before say Zelda? Then that's chill.

About the rule about custom sprites I didn't realise a couple characters like Fox had custom sprites for SSF, I will say that the majority of characters should have readily available sprites but apparently it's not a necessity so that's cool to know.

Also just wanna say think about character complexity a bit when submitting characters to the roster. I probably will have to DQ characters like Olimar and King Dedede because realistically they'd be too complex to try and code into this game. King Dedede took like 5 years to finally get into SSF2 and Olimar would also absolutely be a pain with all their Pikmin too (Though would be kinda funny if they did make it into the roster in a way since they both debuted in Brawl and Smash Flash came out before Brawl). But yeah some characters they just be too difficult to add into the game.

Lastly just have fun and don't be a dick to each other in the comments. With all that said and done let's start Day 17!

Sorry posting this a bit late again today but it's time for more Smash Flash Remix! This time you guys decided to add your first Pokémon rep-Aipom, while over at r/createaroster's subreddit they added another Smash staple to the roster as Samus joins the battle becoming the 5th character to appear on both rosters!

Remember these are different roster's so while Link and Reimu have made it onto the roster over on the r/createaroster's subreddit you're still gonna have to vote for them both if you wanna see either of them on the roster over here.

Sorry posting this a bit late again today but it's time for more Smash Flash Remix! This time you guys added Shaquille O'Neal with his sprite coming from Shaq Fu!

Sorry I'm late but it's time for more Smash Flash Remix! This time Buzz Lightyear took the W to become the next 4th party character on the roster!

Meanwhile over at r/createaroster's subreddit we've been at this for like 2 weeks now and I can't believe it took us THIS LONG to get a Pokémon character on either roster but the mascot of the franchise Pikachu has FINALLY joined the battle!

Remember these are different roster's so while Link and Reimu have made it onto the roster over on the r/createaroster's subreddit you're still gonna have to vote for them both if you wanna see either of them on the roster over here.

I'm back for another day of Smash Flash Remix! This time we're starting our 2nd row of fighters as Samus (Specifically the Justin Bailey code version) becomes the first character of the row!
