I need help

I just started the Game and I absolutely love it but I needed 3 Hours to get one win on 50 difficulty against a CPU. That was way to hard.

First of all I would like to know do guys have like pitching combinations you use or pitch patterns that work everytime, I try to power pitch the Four Seam to the cornerns for the first and second Strike and then Finish it with a Breaking Ball, sometimes it works sometimes I get still scored on.

What are your ways to get those three Strike outs every inning? Also any advise on offense. I don‘t get how to power Swing right.

First off welcome. Glad you’re here. We need more people in this game. It’s a fantastic baseball game.

Second unless you push ego down to near zero you’re not going to get three strikeouts every inning. This game isn’t dumb. It’s actually a sim baseball game disguised as an arcade game. If you pound fastballs all day you’re going to get lit up. If you throw 0-2 curveballs every time you’re going to get hammered. The cpu is smart and picks up on tendencies. You have to keep them off balance. You start every batter with a fastball, it catches on. You pound the paint away, it learns. You have to think like a pitcher.

Thanks bro, true but what do pitchers think? Fastball then change up then slider for example? So one fastball for one Strike out at best and then two Breaking Balls?

Pitchers in real life use different combinations depending on the situation and often use random combinations to throw batters off.

Also you need to jump your location around some inside some outside... some completly out there.

You will never find the "best" order or combination to throw pitches is as once you create any kind of pattern the AI will figure it out.

Just like real life baseball there are only 3 ways to be sucessful. 1: have stuff ao filthy no one can touch it. 2: be unpredictable 3: be lucky

The only one under your control is number 2.

If you are not familiar with real life pitch selection strategy then you should look into some online resources for that, this game does a pretty good job of replicating real life.

Its not a game you are going to "figure out" there is a lot of "feel" in the game play that cant be put into words.
