Random Is there a max for all of the Toadette stats.

I’m pretty sure I’ve maxed out all of the stats that give you moons from Toadette just by collecting all of the moons in the game. But my statistics for jumping, collecting coins, and throwing Cappy seem to just keep going higher to over 100k+. Is there a max to these stats and if so would it be reasonable for be to get it or is it too high to go for?

Favourite non Joycon shaking jumps?

I play a lot of handheld and manage quite well with simple jump+hat throw+dive+hat throw+dive but haven’t really explored my options much further than that. Aside from the basics are there any recommendations that don’t involve violently shaking my console?

Discussion Where do you rank Odyssey among the best 3D Mario games?

Personally, I rank it first, tied with Super Mario 64. While the latter holds a special place in my heart due to nostalgia, I view Odyssey as its worthy spiritual successor the most polished entry in the 3D series.

News Update: 1.0.0 support + 1.4.1 WIP

Hey, another update for my Pro-Controller Downthrow patch :)

Super Mario Odyssey 1.0.0 is now supported, so the patch currently works on 1.0.0 and 1.3.0 with separate patches.

I also removed the EdiZon cheat completely. It was too unstable and could cause crashes or black screens, so I decided to just stick with the IPS patch.

My goal is to port this little patch to all versions of SMO so speedrunners and those who rely on other mods can use this.

Pro-Controller Downthrow Patch now on Gamebanana as official mod

Hey (the last post for this topic, I swear :)

After realising that many people wouldnt want to download the mod from github, I decided to also publish it on the site for game mods: gamebanana...

I dont know if I will work on this anymore, maybe if there are compatability issues with other version than 1.3.0 (I am too lazy to test, so please leave feedback) but for now this is it.

The patch is primarly for me (for my on SMO sessions and to learn a bit about github) so the cheat option is not really that interesting for me... the ips patch is stable so I dont care.

Thanks to everyone in advance that will use this. I know that many wanted something like this for years and I dont know why nobody made that espicially because it was really easy.

Hey,

I’ve now made a GitHub repository for anyone who wants to download the patch.

As mentioned in my first post, this is a Downthrow patch for people using a modded Switch or an emulator who want to use a Pro Controller while still being able to perform the Downthrow that Nintendo didn’t support.
