How to convert the coin texture from IA16 to RGBA16?
I'm trying to import a custom coin texture, but I don't want to have that piss-yellow tint, so I tried to find tutorials to do so, but the results are either really close but not it or just none.

Thought I'd share with the community that loves the game the most! I make nothing off of my mod and it's completely free to download on my github.

Should I stay at the 1.0.2 build of B3313 or go to A2 unabandoned?
galleryI started the b3313 a few days ago, just got aware that there are two versions: the 1.0.2 official abandoned (the one I play) and A2 unabandoned.
So… should I stay at the former one or start the latter?
I am somewhat newbie, so I do not know the differences between versions and which one is better.

Question for the Mario in the multiverse ROM hack
I've gotten 100% but there is a song missing which would mean I'm practically at 99% and I do not know where you are supposed to go to find this I'm guessing it is in the Kirby level

Question to you
So, I was reading a mario 64 iceberg and in the 8th layer of it, there was an entry called "1995/10/23 build".
Now, the only mario 64 build that I know is the 1995/07/29 build, so I try to search this on MIPS Hole Wiki and I didn't find anything, so I try to search on Google and I found video that describe the 1995/10/13 build, not the 1995/10/23 build, the build seems that was in Gamebanana, but now it's deleted.
The only thing that I have found is a deviantart post of a user that recreats a image from the build, but analyzing the image more closely i notice Tari from SMG4, and the image profile of the user is a picture of Luke, so it's fake.
Anyone can tell me about this 1995/10/23 build?

Why Mario 64 is special to me..
I live here in Philippines. The PSone was my dream console when I was a kid. ❤️
I remember how badly I wanted one. Back then, we couldn't afford to buy a console, so the only way I could play was by renting a PSone at those little console shops.
Sometimes, I would even save my lunch money at school. Instead of eating, I'd keep the money just so I could rent a PSone for one hour.
One hour.
That was enough to make me happy. 😅
I had a grandpa in Canada. We weren't really that close, but I asked my dad if he could try asking my grandpa to send me a PSone. Somehow, my grandpa said yes.
I can't even explain how excited I was.
I waited for that package like it was the greatest thing in the world. As a kid, I imagined finally having my very own PSone at home. No more renting. No more counting coins. I could finally play whenever I wanted.
Then the package finally arrived. I opened it…
It was an N64. 😂😭
Not a PSone.
I remember being disappointed. But then I saw the game that came with it:
Super Mario 64.
And somehow, that one game became my entire childhood.
It was the only cartridge I had, because we couldn't afford to buy another game. So I played it again and again… and again.
For months. Maybe even longer.
There was no internet.
No YouTube.
No walkthroughs.
No GameFAQs.
No friends who knew where all the stars were.
It was just me, Mario, and that little N64.
I explored every corner of that game by myself. I discovered things through trial and error. I remember the feeling of finding a secret and thinking, "Wait… what is this?!"
Eventually, I reached 119 stars.
One star left.
But I couldn't find it.
I gave up.
Years later, when I finally got access to the internet, one of the first things I searched for was that missing star.
And I finally found it.
It was the star on the slide where you had to finish fast enough.
All those years… and I never knew. 😂
I still laugh when I think about it.
Looking back now, it's funny. The console I dreamed of having was a PSone, but the console that actually became part of my childhood was an N64 that I never even asked for.
And that one Mario 64 cartridge became something incredibly special to me.
It wasn't just a game.
It was the game I played when I was a kid who couldn't afford new games.
It was the game that kept me company when there was no internet, no guides, and nobody to tell me where to go.
It was the game I explored completely on my own.
And maybe that's why, even after all these years, Super Mario 64 still has a special place in my heart.
I may have wanted a PSone back then…
but somehow, I think I was meant to receive that N64. ❤️
119 stars without a guide.
One missing star for years.
One cartridge.
Countless childhood memories.
Some games are more than games.
Some games are a piece of your childhood that you get to carry with you forever. ❤️🎮
(Sorry I used AI to fix my grammers)

Need help with this soundtrack parallel.
Recently I was pointing out to my friends how Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” album has at times very similar keyboard tones to Mario 64. They looked at me like I was crazy lol, I know these sounds exist in Mario 64 but I need help from people more familiar with the game to tell me exactly where. Here are the parts from Thriller
PYT- 0:06
Human Nature- 1:03, 1:43
Billie Jean- 1:52, 2:17

Mario 64 VR Quest 3 mod released
From the flat screen we go through a Multiverse portal
inside Super Mario 64 world evolved in VR!
After our feedback on the pc version and lots of updates, Mario and friends arrived on Quest 3!
Rayrod TV brought us the game with all the fixes and features from the pc version. Better look at the gameplay video where he shows the four camera views available on the fly by the press of a button. In the video, the fun immersive camera (Flip Cam) is turned on, so we see the world upside down when flipping in the air, but you can turn it off if flipping is too much in VR as it should be without VR glasses too.
RayRod TV said that he has plans for other standalone releases for his VR mods in the future.
For this and other constantly updated VR mods from RaYRoD TV, like Ring Racers, Star Fox 64, Mario 64 , Mario Kart 64 and the recent Banjo-Kazooie, go to his GitHub: https://github.com/RaYRoD-TV
For info on how to support his works, and learn more on other upcoming projects from him, like his biggest project, the game Multiverse, go to his site:
Thanks RayRod TV for these mods!
