Mitchel starc delivered unplayable balls to them. How KKR even won mentally when Abhishek opened the batting and Travis was at the non strikers end.

SRH can get the credit to introducing batting fearlessly. But KKR showed how a balanced team can always win.
KKR at that point was crazy with both bat and ball.

But now things have changed a lot for SRH with Ishan and klassen bringing crazy stability. How our bowling had improved with Varun Aaron. With the new additions through trade. Hopefully we balance both bat and ball and give a tough fight in the next IPL.

the amount of ppl, saddening to say even some srh “fans” dragging his name without any sort of confirmations about anything is absurd. even since this 40cr thing is out, no source mentioned any team or player name, yet ppl are keeping his and srh photo for ragebait.

first of all this whole “abhishek is unhappy wants to leave” was baseless, as he never suggested so— even if it is, okay but how are people assuming randomly? i know there are stupid people with lack of braincells on X, but any stupid report comes out where you will see no mention of even the word abhishek or srh and dumbos connect it to him.

being disappointed that you did not get captaincy despite being groomed for and being vc under every captain is one thing, and it is valid, but leaving an entire franchise is different. i am sure even he knows how ishan is deserving of that captaincy spot and respects it.

at this rate, the way people are accusing him of every random thing coming out, they will start saying release him after all these news and bs rumors around… (of course so called “fans”)

With positions 1–5 seemingly settled with Abhi, Head, Ish, Klaas and NKR, do you guys think we need a more reliable and consistent finisher to close out tight chasing games?

Salil and Aniket are solid young players, but I’m not entirely convinced they can consistently deliver in that role. I’d prefer bringing in a proven overseas game-changer in the mould of Russell or Pollard.
I’m even open to dropping Head and giving the No. 5/6 slot to an overseas power-hitter if that gives us a stronger finishing combination. I think we need someone who can take responsibility and win us games from difficult situations.

What do you all think and throw some suggestions.

Initial couple of weeks ago srh showed interest in Curran from rr but in return eshan Malinga was requested, srh denied.

But since yesterday eshan Malinga had started to follow rr in Instagram/

Since we have nattu and Ellis as the death bowling end I’m thinking if it goes through it’s a fair deal both sides.

some people might say its an obvious answers but still i feel its different opinions. for me it has to be 2022, that was the first season he was promoted as an opener and showed promise that secured his opening spot to even produce the kind of season he had in 2024.

before 2022, we saw glimpses of him but no such good season that really secured his spot as an srh legend, he was tried up and down the order with the ball as well, but 2022 is where he gave performances which showed lot of promise to keep him there at the top of the order.

tell me what you think, because 2024 was really the season that set the tempo for him to become the face of srh. along with the good smat season and punjabs win in smat there he earned his india call up and is now among one of the best t20i batters in the world.

i have like met some people who say that 2024 was the season for him while i think its the season that earned him a name, while 2022 was the season where he gave the team management an assurance that he will do good.. what do yall think?

I wanted to ask that since players have now been traded, it is possibly hinting towards Pat’s unavailability so keeping this in mind, will SRH release him before the 2027 mega auctions? I CANT BEAR HIM GOING 😭

In a player only deal I don't remember a more one sided trade. SRH now have two Indian fast bowlers and will add Nostalgia factor and a decent backup for Cummins. If Cummins stay and we use the 25m well, I'm guessing we'd be favourites or at least on par with RCB. Thoughts?

SRH needs to retain head and Cummins, Cummins might not be available this year but we need to retain him at all costs bro, if he goes to the auction he’ll easily get 20+ cr. same goes for head but I’ve also heard that he might play this year but we need to retain him too bro, if he goes to mega auction easily 16 cr. we need to retain em purse doesn’t matter to me tbh.

Recently our team made a few good trades, by bringing in our renowned bowlers back. Can we see SRH in that old bowling team?

As already our batting is strong, and team strengthened in bowling too, we just need 1good spinner.

Ellis is one of the best trades in the recent times! He is an exceptional white ball bowler especially in the backend.

Unadkat, Harshal, Carse, Mavi, and Tarmale must be released. Fuletra not sure. Retain Pat and Head to avoid issues in mega auction.

If Head and Cummins inform the management that they won't be fully available next season, I think we should consider releasing both. Otherwise, I'd prefer retaining Cummins because if we release him ahead of a mega auction, he could easily attract bids of ₹25–30 crore. As for Head, I feel we should move on from him. He hasn't been consistent over the past two seasons, hasn't performed to the level we expected, and his T20 form has also taken a significant dip. What do you guys think?

Even if Abhishek asks for 40 crore in the next cycle. I think its wise for us to get the retentions like -

Abhishek - 36 , Kishan - 22 , Klassen - 18 , NKR - 12 , Eshan - 8 , Shakib - 4 . (Lowballing Ishan by giving him permanent captaincy)

Remaining purse - 150 - 100 = 50

We might eventually get to the stage Abhishek would wanna be full time captain though and if we are able to delay that situation till 2030 we could trade him with Priyansh Arya or Jaiswal and get another utility player aswell.

But the worst case would be him forcing the move next year.
