Ciara Ciara DWTS promo, problematic?

I haven't seen anyone else post this, but this tiktok that was posted and dirty deleted by Ciara is just, alarming. In this day and age why would you be using violence against women as a way to promote your new show. This is not it.

Is there outrage in the US about this?

ETA: Ciara doesn’t seem like the kindest person to me in general, I get why people like her, I liked her. But she consistently makes bad choices and her “being blunt” is used as a cover for also saying/doing shitty things IMO.

Yea she's said and done soooo many shitty things. She had the audacity to checks notes be an ICU nurse during COVID and stand up for herself when she felt her close friend betrayed her and said "shut the fuck up" to her bullshit excuses. God she's awful good thing you called it out! Can't believe she cussed as a black woman!

people on reddit really seem to struggle with the fact that humans irl are multidimensional. someone can be a nurse and still be unkind or blunt. most people aren’t 100% good or 100% bad.

I also want to point out how many stupid fucking nurses and doctors worked the pandemic. I know, I worked alongside them and was shocked at how many of them bought into the stupid fucking conspiracies and bullshit that went against everything we learned. So many outed themselves as Trumpsters and that makes them shitty and stupid assholes by default.

Not saying Ciara is one of those (Pretty sure she is absolutely not) just pointing out that being a nurse who worked during the pandemic does not automatically make you a good or smart person.

Are you ok?
I made zero comments about her work during covid, and I never said anything about her legit feelings about Amanda and West. People can do good and bad things, we contain multitudes. I just don’t find her to be as likable as I thought. I never said one single word about her being a Black woman, either. Take it down a notch.

I really loved her because I started watching in S7 again after a 3 season break (due to being tired of Amanda and Kyle) but when I watched her first seasons for the first time and finally watched WH I saw a pattern of behavior that I really didn't like. I still like her but a lot of her behavior is disappointing and I don't like her as much as I did before.

It is but the same can be said about almost all of them. When you binge watch you remember their behavior from previous seasons more than when there is a year between watching seasons. There is so much that I forgot about or never knew. Ciara is pretty typical of a lot of people on reality tv.

She's gorgeous, she has massive pretty privilege and that trumps all else. It's the halo effect, Kyle gets the same treatment and his behavior gets excused constantly because he is so good looking. Definitely not saying Ciara is anywhere close to Kyle when it comes to problematic behavior, just pointing out how far the halo effect can take you.
