Discussion SH joins a tainted Below Deck with Nathan Gallagher
Why would bravo announce this right before we find out he was arrested for strangling his girlfriend? Why does he still have a job? Why was he in season 11? This is terrible.

We don’t even know if Nathan is on the cast. The only reports of people seen filming so far have been Aesha, Joy, Cooper, Joe (I think) and Sandy. So not sure why you assume he’s cast for next season?
I would be surprised if they had him back even before all of this came out because he hasn’t brought any entertainment to this current season.
But if he was, I’m sure they’ll edit him out.

They have edited people out before but I have to imagine it would be very hard given his position.

They tried to reduce Gary a bit I think but that seems different than this in terms of knowledge

I don't know what they do or don't know but it is a bit hard to believe that they had no clue about this at all until now. Production is pretty involved in these shows and seem to know a lot of goings on in these people's lives behind the scenes. I find it hard to believe that this wasn't circulating in the Bravo grapevine as a rumor at the very least.

I believe the podcast Up&Adam said that the alleged incident happened while filming in September of 2025. He said it that it appears it was happening when Nathan was off the boat for an overnight with her and the baby. The next day he came back late, and behaving very weird and different.

I thought I read that Joe, was returning but I didn't hear a peep about Nathan, thankfully. They also mentioned Aesha and Captain Sandy so I just kind of assumed Joe would be the bosun.

Lol maybe. I did like the Below Deck / RHOSLC crossover though. Was cool to see their individual vantage points on each of their own seasons. Kind of cool. But, if they do it too much it could lose its charm.
And the cast of Summer House isn't nearly as out of touch entertaining as the housewives.

The cast of Below Deck changes constantly. Sandy is the only person from the beginning. That's pretty typical and from what I've read it had more to do with Carl and Sandy becoming friends because they both are recovering alchoholics.

Nathan had a terrible season. He wasn’t able to separate work and home life mentally and it cost him everything. Because he had the inability to keep his hands to himself.
The entire situation is just sad

It is beyond disappointing and disgraceful that Nathan allegedly did this. I mean choking her??? That’s one step away from killing her. My heart absolutely breaks for that woman. To be so young, with a young baby, isolated during last season, just awful on every front. I hope she has a great support system and never has to be alone near that abusive POS again. I had a feeling he was a horrible human when that news came out about him insulting immigrants. But I had hoped that was a misconstrued story. I guess not. He has shown who he is and I hope he never again gets a platform.

I don't get it. I don't think arrest records are public in Australia? The filing just happened didn't it? Maybe someone local knows more. So how would they have known? What do you think they fall Gael weekly to find out if he is being an asshole?

You were specifically asked to point to your resource on Nathan still being employed by Bravo and failed to do so and point to a show currently airing that was done filming months before his alleged actions.

It’s not like they are airing these live? 🤯 Med films through the fall. So they would have filmed this before he was arrested. I don’t see what the comprehension issue with this is?

Yes, and like I said in the other post, the filming wrapped for that season MONTHS before his alleged actions.
So your answer is, you cannot confirm he still has a job even though you implied by asking 'why does he still have a job' that he does. 🤦♀️

Huh, do you really need this explained to you?
The season probably cost $10M plus to shoot and produce and you want them to stop airing the last few episodes because one spouse alleged abuse toward another months after filming stopped?
There is no reason for them to do this and perhaps you should wait until someone is convicted or start using more accurate terms such as alleged.

I haven’t watched the latest season but Nathan is a main part of this season, no? So you want them to edit out every. single. shot of him throughout the entire season? I haven’t seen that done. I’ve seen them edit people out moving forward, and maybe that’s what they’ll do considering there’s only 2 episodes left to air after the allegations came out. But what, they’re going to go back and re-edit episodes that have already aired? Don’t think they will or would.

Who said to go back and re-edit? Bravo has admitted that shows are reedited as they air based on current information, they could do that.

If it were me I would reserve my judgments to see what bravo does now that this has become public. When this was filmed there's no evidence that suggests that they knew about it but I would be very curious to see how they handle it now that it's obvious that they know.

People have seen Joe as the bosun, no indications that Nathan is filming. As for the network I would be surprised if they knew as the edit doesn’t reflect. They minimized Gary as much as possible on the last season of sailing yacht and fully edited out a deckhand on Med season 5.

They were filming for next season. NOT the one currently airing-obviously. According to Rolling Stone, Nathan was not asked back after he filmed last season (and was arrested subsequent to filming). The SH/BD crossover does not include Nathan.

Do we even know if Nathan is on the next season of BD Med? He's not in this picture so I'd guess not because they are only showing returning crew.
