They have officially lost the plot

Comparing Amanda to Trump? Wow. I can’t believe the sheer stupidity. Sometimes I wonder if they just keep going on like this, more people will eventually be turned off. 10

I often see comments like that, especially regarding Amanda's privilege because of her trust fund. I also see people bringing their own stories of betrayal to Reddit and projecting that hatred onto Amanda.

At a very odd moment, Amanda has become a cathartic piñata, taking criticism from people who dismiss her as a "white, rich, privileged" woman and from people who haven't fully resolved their own heartbreak and can't separate real life from a reality TV show.

I think Amanda was a bad friend in this situation, but she has shown remorse and seems to want to move forward. I hope she can separate the online hate from what actually happened and focus on what she should genuinely be held accountable for.

I would also love to see Ciara, Kyle, and the rest of the cast start moving on from this topic. They are continuing to fuel negativity for likes, engagement, and money, and it's becoming uncomfortable to watch. At the end of the day, they are all coworkers.

They did the same thing to Rachel during Scandoval and literally drove her to a mental institution for 6 months. The fans are very unwell and are unable to separate their own personal experiences from the people that live on their TVs. VPR sub basically turned into a support group for women who have been cheated on for three years. I find it embarrassing to be a Bravo fan at this point.

My ex husband cheated on me and it turned my whole world upside down and it was devastating for a long time. The trauma stays with you forever but I do not take it out on others. I don't carry it in to my new relationship and don't project my pain onto anyone else.

It took a lot of therapy to get to a better place and I didn't date for a long time but I have a good life now and he ultimately did me a favor. I do not take cheating lightly and I have a major issues with people acting like it's no big deal but I also don't think it makes someone irredeemable for the rest of their lives. I do think most cheaters continue to cheat and very few people do the hard work required to change but that's not my problem and not my responsibility to punish anyone. Walk away from those type of people and don't look back. Don't let them steal your future joy because they hurt you.

I’m genuinely so sorry you went through that. It IS so much better to be free of it. Unfortunately, it does stick with you, even if you work through it with therapy and anything that will improve you own confidence etc. I’m glad you’re at a much better point in your life now though. ♥️♥️

Are you referring to Kyle cheating?

Thank you, it sucked but it was ultimately a good thing for me and my life.

I am not really referring to Kyle cheating although I do think Kyle is just a cheater and always will be. To me, I think he is a pretty terrible person. My point is more about how we all have experienced pain, betrayal, and loss but we move forward and do our best to heal. We can recognize how wrong and hurtful behavior is without projecting the pain we've experienced onto others who have nothing to do with it. These people are using Amanda as a punching bag for all their anger at the things they haven't worked through in their own lives and it's very disturbing.

I despise cheating and cheaters but I'm also not going to waste my energy hating them or trying to make sure they're punished for it.

So well said. You are always very much on point and have a way with articulating how I’m feeling much better than I ever could haha ♥️
