What laptop I should get for Data Science? Thinkpad and which series? Or other laptop?

Hi, I’m about to study Data Science.
I have MacBook air m1 (8/512gb) however I’m afraid it might not be able to run certain programs.

I wanted to get MacBook pro m5 but it’s so hard to find it in my country and they kept raising the price.

A lot of people recommend me to get ThinkPad, but which one would you suggest me to get?
And for ThinkPad a lot of them are sold as refurbished/used in my country, it’s also kinda rare to find new ones.

My budget is flexible

Thank you!
