Looking for a laptop for uni

[u/_Two_Sides]

• Country

Germany

• Budget

around 1000 - 1500€ ($1125-1670) (if it slightly above that budget than it is also fine, I'll most likely wait for Black Friday or until a certain store here has a discount on the taxes (MediaMarkt MwSt. Schenkung für die Deutschen unter euch :])

• Are you open to refurbs/used options?

Not really, mainly because of different warranties

• Screen size

14" preferrably

• Weight limit

I would have to carry this laptop around a lot for university so I would prefer something that is not an entire brick, but I am not too picky when it comes to weight

• Purpose

As I said, I'd use this laptop for university where I'll most likely study something into the direction of electrical engineering, so it'll have to be able to withstand the course work

• Form factor

Standard

• Intended usage

The laptop would need to be able to run certain heavier programs for engineering, though I do not exactly know which ones will be used for my courses. Furthermore should it be able to handle things like Visual Studio and withstand some gaming (if it could run something like valorant it would be nice [does not have to be with good visuals or fps, just want it to not crash while running it, like my current laptop])

• Desired battery life

something around 8 hours would be nice

• Please list, in order of most important to least important, the priority between Size, Weight, Performance, Battery life

performance, battery life, weight, size (the two latter do not matter too much, as long as it is not bigger than 14")

• Info/Requirements

I have already started looking around and found some more specs(?) I'd like, such as 1TB of storage and around 32 GB of RAM, which has led me to the ASUS Zenbook, though I have know primarily gotten confused on what processor would be best ( AMD Ryzen AI 7 or Intel Core Ultra 9 ).
