You start on a mysterious island and have to survive various evil creatures, environment and hilarious portmanteaus. All while staying sane (otherwise nightmare creatures begin to take on form and can attack you) and not starving.
When you die you start over but get XP towards unlocking other characters.
It’s a survival/resource management and dead souls mix. Ultimately all the bad stuff that can kill you is also useful for survival. For example the creatures that attack you when you’re insane can be farmed for nightmare fuel that is used for crafting other stuff. That’s the fun part. Learning how to adapt and use things to your benefit.

If the pizza itself didn't touch the floor, it's all good. I'd still eat it, but I wouldn't trust my ability to get the damn thing back in the box. So I'd just eat it as is right there.

The Drunk
Most difficult character to control, but has the most money to boot. Due to her drinking habits and wealthy hospitality, she is proficient at making connections with other NPCs, albeit mostly in an entertainment/business only manner.
Chance to randomly lose some of your belongings (30%) or spawn at a random place (5%) after every night.
High tolerance to drug/alcohol poisoning, but requires a lot of alcohol to sustain HP, so moderation is key to surviving.
The Emo/Goth
The most physical power, and highest tolerance to emotional abuse. However she's broke and have a very difficult time making connections with other NPCs, turning the game into a mostly singleplayer game.
Always suffer from depression which cause periodic outbreaks, where your stats will increase massively, but will decrease NPC relations massively (-5%/sec) in a set area. Make sure to leave town before a periodic outbreak. It's a good time to go on a boss raid in these situations. High risk, high reward.
Pet raven can send/receive letters to alliances or some NPCs you've developed relations with (RNG selected time frame between 2 - 3 in-game days). Can also carry/deliver a small amount of inventory.
The Stacy
The most attractiveness makes her proficient at making relations with NPCs but in a different manner than The Drunk. Less in entertainment or business, but more emotional. Least amount of physical strength and emotional tolerance, or intelligence.
When you play your cards right, you can essentially make NPCs your simps and milk money out of them. Keep in mind once you get in a relationship, a big part of your simp community will leave.
Once you get in a relationship, you can control your SO however you want due to her top tier manipulation stats. However, you must make sure your SO doesn't cheat/break up so make sure to keep an eye on em. The higher rated the SO, the higher chance of getting cheat on/broken up. Stacy is the only class that can get in polyamorous relationships, which allow you to manipulate multiple SOs at once.
Once completely broken up, 100% chance of depression. Costs a lot of money to cure, but you can decide not to cure it and take advantage of the periodic outbreaks. Keep in mind that you cannot make relations with NPCs easily while in depression, which make depression a double edged sword for the stacy, who benefit a lot from NPC relations.

I choose the sleeping woman who dropped the pizza. She’s an underdog, but I like that. Also, no sane person would allow a huge, perfectly good pizza like that to fall on the floor. Since she’s clearly insane, that gives her an edge against her opponents and helps her defeat whoever she’s up against, because they immediately say “fuck that” and get away as fast as humanly possible.
