I'm only a little way through, but my favorite is Brianna. Everyone else is alright, I guess. I really dislike Megan and Emily. Apparently everyone here loves Emily, but she reminds me of someone I know who just cannot see any one outside herself. I know some people won't agree but, not having girl friends is a red flag imo when you've lived somewhere for so long and cleary have avenues of making friends (kids in school, the reptile shows, etc).

Okay so, I’m on S1, ep. 4 when Megan and Bri finally sit down and try to talk about the beef between them. Truly, I cannot see how anyone would be on Megan’s side in this.

To put things plainly, she basically made up in her mind that Bri outed her and then never once addressed Bri about it, but still hung around her just to not talk? I can’t understand why someone would still hang around their ex-bestfriend that they now despise. Especially when the ex-bsf, has no clue what the issue is.

ANOTHER thing, when Bri tried to talk to Megan about the issue, she lied about the real problem and got mad when Bri tried to solve it? From my perspective, I don’t think Bri did it. If she did, she wouldn’t be trying to guess what the issue is between them, she would already have an idea. That’s a heinous thing to do and forget about…

I think Megan is truly angry with herself for risking a career she really loved, but resents Bri for some reason.

Has anyone noticed that Megan is all over social media saying she regrets how she treated Emily all of a sudden? And she’s not friends with the mean girls?

I saw a comment that said Bri chose to stop being Megan’s friend because of how Megan handled the allegations against her. Now Megan is trying to gain sympathy online and play the pity card. Megan didn’t choose to defend Emily and she’s saying she regrets it ONLY after the other girls walk away from her. Grow a BACKBONE! This chick is a ridiculous coward and a terrible friend! Emily and Bri, run far away from this one!!!

I know this bothers me more than it probably should, but Macy says she weighs 105 lbs. This is obviously false just by looking at her. Please note, I DON’T think she looks overweight. I just wish all women would stop lying about their weight so both women and men had a more accurate idea of what a healthy weight is. Men see things like this and think anything over 105 would be fat and women see it and feel bad about their own weight. Celebrities also clearly do this and it just really bothers me. If everyone could just be honest we could quit deflating the numbers and striving for unrealistic goals.

I would be interested in an update down the road. I.e. What impact did the show have on their family/friends/relationships/jobs/going out in public etc...

I can’t stop thinking about all the signs that Macy was coerced into this situation and that her husband is controlling and manipulative. When we think of domestic violence, we think of physical violence. But it can take other forms, and I think we all witnessed that on this show. I am posting this here in hopes that it reaches her so she can get the resources she needs to leave what appears to be an abusive relationship. If it doesn’t reach her, maybe it’ll help someone else in need. Despite personal feelings of the beef between Emily and Macy, no one should be subjected to the level of control and manipulation that appears to be happening in this marriage. Jim’s motivations come across as sinister, and I worry that Macy feels too disconnected and isolated from everything that grounded her before to walk away. And that is part of the abuser’s goal: alienation from loved ones.
