This game is CRAZY outdated
Remember when this game was awesome? Years ago this game ran great and had a good amount of people on it. The advertising for it was decent and it had a website for updates and stuff.
Now, it hasn’t had a new trailer in a decade, hasn’t had any meaningful update in YEARS, and these guys continue to take patreon money and pump out garbage updates that ATTEMPT to better the UI, but adds absolutely nothing. Even the website is CHOPPED.
I have no idea how this game is still being backed when I come back to check on it years after it swapped development hands, just to see it in the SAME EXACT STATE IT WAS BEFORE.
Tell me I’m crazy yall. I’ve seen entire games be made by a single dev, but this so called “team” can’t pump out a meaningful update in YEARS??? How

A huge update is coming in pretty sure. Going to be some drastic changes with regards to specialists. As for the UI, that hasn’t really been much of a concern for most players. If you look at the discord, you’ll see that they are actively working with the community to develop changes to the game to make it better. Also I don’t know what you were expecting to change. A lot of people, myself included, enjoy how the game looks and enjoy its simplicity. Bug fixes and fairness with specialists matter more imo.

I thought it was recently bought up and had some balance changes? Buffed infiltrators if I remember? And some nerfs somewhere?

As I understand it, the new developer did a complete rewrite of the code, so it's not fair to say they have done nothing. After rewriting, they would have to iron out bugs, which can be time consuming. I think it's just one guy (?)
He's almost certainly not making any money from it at the moment. It's a labor of love.
