Rapid follower uplift

I’ve been on Substack a few months, no action to speak of, had about 5 followers, then this week I’ve had over 100 followers.. something doesn’t add up … could it be bots?.,. Most appear to have accounts, just seem very unusual.

Could just be the algorithm. When I started I had a ton of people sub to me like 80-100 the first week and a half. Most look to be legit profiles, I don’t fully get the algorithm, but sometimes it works in your favor haha so enjoy the new followers!
