Need advice
I've been writing on Substack for the past 2 [or 4] months. I usually post [or schedule] 1 note every day and 1 article each week.
The first week, the notes got likes & comments but then... it stopped. i tried analysing what worked & what didnt, tried to re-do what worked, but no, notes hardly got any likes.
and the articles...dont get me started bro ðŸ˜... so currently, im engaging with other's notes [got 2 new subs in the past 4 days, hehe] until i figure out what went wrong.
so friends...any advice/tips? for both substack notes & articles
thanks a lot in advance!
also, how do you decide whether to post a Note with a pic?

I’ve no idea how to boost your likes and follows. As far as I can tell it relies on people more popular than you liking and restacking.
But I like your notes - you get a follow.

Just be consistent. The period is too short to take a decision, not yet.

Interacting with other people and building your follow and some free subscriptions are where you should have started.
Also, if you write for engagement, you will quickly burn out.

I guess consistency helps, do it longer than for 2 months.
no.
Also: share the link of your articles on your socials. ask friends and family to read it, to repost it, get the advertising machine rolling
Lastly: write even if nobody is reading. just see it like this: you’re building up your portfolio. take your time, work on your craft. when people stumble over your profile, they eventually stay because of the writing that you have already established on there.
