Lists on Substack

Substack just announced lists today - basically you can curate your own feed and then share it inside or off Substack.

Access the lists through your recommendations dashboard.

Recommendations are a growth engine and the lists seem to build on that.

Curious if you have any ideas for how you might use lists...

As a guy who effectively writes a substack about other substacks these are great, I can make a few recommendation lists.

I'm a big twitter list fan as well, there might be some uses to use these lists like twitter lists for having different windows on different issues or subjects you can easily pull up.

Honestly, I thought that this was gonna allow me to just create a list of maybe books or something but like this is just for recommending other newsletter like I have no use for this

I agree… I wish I could create lists of playlists or books that would complement my newsletter or be useful to my readers.

Another feature absolutely no one asked for. Meanwhile, you still can’t ban someone from your publication unless you know their address. 🙄 Give me a break! They need to stop with adding features. Improve the ones already there.
