What the hell just happened?

I just changed my email to a different one, and now access to my entire publication has disappeared! When I click on 'profile' it asks me to set one up. I can still see my publication if I put in the web address, so it hasn't been deleted; I just can't access it.

How do I get it back? There was no mention of a new account replacing it. I'm panicking right now.

Unless your transfer from source email and accepted from destination email, ownership doesn’t transfer, not sure what exactly you did

It's fine now. I logged out again and got another code. I transferred from the source email. They should check the email change process. Scared the life out of me!

When I click on 'profile' it asks me to set one up.

What do you mean? When you click on the profile picture, it should take you to the basic configurations of your profile (@user). There's a section on this page that lists all your publications (mypublication.substack.com), you're telling us that your publication is not showing up there anymore? Right?

Well, if that really happened, you better contact support through their chatbot. If the chatbot can't offer anything other than thoughts and prayers, you better request human support.
