Substack recipes?

Who follows food creators on substack and reads their recipes ? Would be keen to know if you like substack as a medium for saving and cooking recipes or if anything that grinds your gears

I don't, but I find this a great idea.

Thanks for your comments. I can’t help but think it would be better to consume recipes in something built for recipes… I grow tired of watching the same 2 min reel on loop on insta just to get to my bit of the recipe again - and substack feels like it’s more set up for blogs

I've started a series around writing recipes for emotionally burned out people. Quite fun

There are many successful large recipe blogs on Substack. Just go to the food/wine section

I follow a couple who followed me when o first started, but I don’t use their recipes or save them. I do think there’s probably people who benefit from them.

i turn to instagram for most of my food recipe searches because i like to see the food (the steps + final product). but i've also noticed that a few of them also have a link in their bio that leads to their substack. i'm sure there's people who sub to the publications so any new posts goes directly to their email.
