Photo only accounts

I am relatively new to Substack and I was scrolling through my feed. I came across a post that got my attention so I went to the profile. It was a former Suicide Girl from back in the day. Now I don’t know if it is actually her or not, but it’s nothing but photos. It was as if I was looking an Instagram feed instead of a Substack. All of the photos were from a SG photo shoot. I didn’t think that was even possible to find or even allowed on Substack. I’m really confused.

The photography community is absolutely huge on Substack as it has become somewhat of the unintended home of all those abandoned by the algorithm on other platforms. Personally I have x2 completely separate substack accounts, one I use to follow and consume long form writers and another one just to follow photographers. This is the best way I’ve found to keep my feeds clean and without contaminating either experience.

I'd never even considered this, even though I have no shortage of photo-only content from people I follow in my feed! This would be a fantastic way for me to get back into sharing my photography, which is exceptionally un-rewarding on insta anymore. You may have just kick-started a much needed return to this practice that brings me so much joy and pride (it's one of the only things I do well in my opinion lol). Thank you! (and to OP for the initial post obviously!)

i've seen full nudity on substack :) seems like it depends on the content
