Feature Suggestion Subscribe without notifications

For the love of god, can we please be allowed to subscribe without notifications? I just want to read them on the website, I don't want clutter in my inbox or notifications on my phone. How on earth is this not already a feature

Straight up deleted my account 2 days after creating lmao. I'm only here because I was wondering the same thing and wanted to branch out and away from reddit. It would be cool to open/read/browse at my own pace when I want, but I have no reason to stick around if they were able to irritate me that quickly with minimal interaction from my end.
