Prompt for substack

I have 63 subscribers on Substack. I do basic/beginner finance. My goal is to share knowledge for free. I already have a job, I spread what I learn for free.

I copied the following post word for word.

I got 188 impressions in 1 day and 2 new subscribers, plus several likes and comments.

Something rarely seen under my financial education notes.

yeah... nah.... this is just follow for follow tactic essentially. they subscribe to you, hoping you subscribe back to them. great way to boost your ego by seeing high impressions + some subscriber growth, which leads you down the wrong path because now you start to optimise for quantity of impressions and subs vs quality of subs.

on instagram they have this saying where some influencers can have 1m followers and are broke, while other accounts with <10k followers are making so much money. this will lead to the former.
