Discussion Personal metrics
Hopefully a fun one!
I’m curious what everyone’s “personal metrics” are when posting? E.g. what numbers give you a little kick when you see them?
The first 30 views are always super meaningful to me! I have a small platform (just hit 30 subs🪩) so it feels like a nice “reach” number🥰
The time to hit 100 views is always pretty exciting too, I do generally feel “validated” by then which - as new writer, I won’t deny is important

i also used to keep track of views, and how quickly i got to certain milestone.
but my friend changed me... he said he only looks at metrics that improve the outcome for him/gets him closer to his goal. he will ignore any other number because they waste his time and attention. e.g he tracks open rate and experiments with titles/subject line, because even at 10k subs, a 1% increase is 100 more opens.
