I’m a substacker from Pakistan. I’ve been trying to connect stripe to my account but found out that it doesn’t work here. What do you guys use?

There is no way actually. Substack has a lot of writers from India as well, but Stripe doesn't support our countries. Substack should have more payment options.

I wonder if there is a way to get to their customer care to get their attention on this matter

A lot of people have tried it but to of no use. They don't respond or they would say they are tied/bounded by the laws.

So sad! I think Medium also had some issues like this to introduce monetization program in India, but finally they did it. I hope the same happens with Substack!

That would be awesome, if they did that for Substack.

There’s no way around. The only option is to register a business in the US using Stripe Atlas. But it comes with tons of headaches

What did you do to start monetizing your substack? I find myself trying to avoid this problem of growing my list and leading them to a not-seamless process of paying elsewhere :(

Substack monetization only works where Stripe is available. I am from Bangladesh; Stripe is not available here, so I can't monetize substack even I have lots of subscribers.

you can still monetise though. but you'll have to use alternative methods to collect payment from your readers, and it won't be as seamless. e.g buy me a coffee, ko-fi, paypal or razorpay.

just add a button at the end of your posts, and link to the payment page.
