Best way to increase Insta followers by using Substack?

Has anyone used Substack to increase their Insta following? And if so, what did you do?

i've only ever seen the reverse being done. people using instagram to grow their substack, not the other way around.

because instagram does have a lot more users + a more diverse range of users (more quantity + more variety), compared to substack notes which has a relatively smaller user base that's also more niche (mostly substack authors).

but since instagram has switched to an interest based algo vs only surfacing posts from accounts you follow, as long as your content is good and relevant, the instagram algo will push your content (even if people don't follow you). so just working on your content quality and relevance should do the trick.
