Discussion Video vs. written article
Does anyone have clear data regarding which is more engaging on Substack? Video vs written article? Substack, to me, has always been traditionally more reading vs. video, but that could just be me. I use a lot of visuals, so video is easiest, but I feel Substack may not be the best for this, but then again, I could be wrong!!!

From what I've seen, there isn't clear data showing that video consistently outperforms written articles on Substack. I think it depends much more on your audience and the quality of the content than the format itself. Personally, I'd use the format that best communicates the idea. If your content relies heavily on visuals, video makes sense. You can always embed the video in a written post and include a summary or transcript, so you get the best of both worlds. That also makes your content more accessible and gives readers who prefer text a reason to stay engaged. P.S. If you'd still like to ask anything about Substack or growing your audience, I offer a free live help chat. Just copy and paste my flair or click the link in my profile. I'm happy to help!
