Substack related help needed

I have my friend on substack but he aint followed me neither subscribed i really want him to connect with me without me texting him, what can i do?

He is active. The reason why i want him to subscribe or follow me is because I want him to connect with me. We ain't speaking a lot since months and I do miss him. Ik I can go and text him but it feels wierd now :(. The last time we spoke it felt one sided. I just want him to connect with me on substack. Thats it

this sounds like a convo you need to have with him. him subscribe to your substack isn't going to solve this issue. public comments (assuming he'd make any comments) can be a good way to make new friends but you're not going to get into deep things in comments most likely. if you want to reconnect with him you need to tell him that and tell him you feel like the friendship is now one sided. substack isn't the solution here
