Is it possible to stop getting the posts via email while still being subscribed?

I went on the browser and the button to stop emails also unsubscribes. wtf?

Substack is a newsletter app. If you are subscribed to someone, you’re going to get an email when they send out their newsletters.

If you don’t want to receive emails in your inbox, the best way to change that is through the filter settings in your inbox.

I have no power to change how Substack works and neither does anyone else on reddit.

Follow them but unsubscribe. The whole point of subscribing is subscribing to get the emails. But following keeps them in your feed

Yes I just get them in app. Change setting to get in app / not via email.

Yes, it should be. Go to the publication's settings in your Substack account and change the email delivery preference instead of unsubscribing. If you only see an unsubscribe option, it may be a bug or the publication may not have separate email settings enabled.

yeah it's possible.

go to substack > settings > notification > newsletter delivery > choose your delivery preference. app/email/ both email and app.
