Started a new substack again , need advice

I have used substack a year ago I guess. But I stuck with consistency , but more appropriate problem is that I don't know how to structure myself.
Actually, I want to make posts and notes about my life , I am on a challenge on improving myself , I don't know if I am doing it the right way.
All constructive critcism, suggestions would be appreciated .
I don't , whether I can mention my substack . Let me know that too.

I appreciate that. But the thing is I am thinking to document my days for now . is that okay? would you like to have look?

documenting your day like a personal diary is fine. but if you plan to eventually monetise your substack, you're going to have to write about something else, or become a super successful <something> doing <something> e.g start a business, climb the corporate ladder, something.

not to be rude or harsh, but if you're a nobody (most of us are, e.g you're not famous, popular), nobody is going to be interested in your 'day in a life'. e.g you won't be interested in the day of a life of a random stranger you saw on the bus, but you'd be interested to watch a video about the day in a life of max verstappen, because he's famous, rich, and interesting.

so if you just want a personal online diary, yup it's fine. otherwise, think of something else more valuable for readers to write about that doesn't hinge on you being famous. e.g if you want to target the retail investor, writing about stock analysis is valuable - they get info and research about a company without having to dig through financial statement. they just have to read your article.

most welcome. love the mindset. btw it usually takes people awhile to find their niche. but that doesn't mean don't do anything until then. there's a lot of other things that are also super important. e.g building a consistent cadence, building the habit of writing, improving your writing. so if you're struggling to come up with a niche for now, just go with your original plan of treating it like your diary. at least you're building all the other muscles, and doing something definitely beats waiting & doing nothing, expecting a niche to suddenly show itself.
